Promised the world and didn’t deliver. Exceptionally poor service from Gavin who took on our listing and then vanished with no follow up even following several complaints. And only then did we get an email blaming another estate agent ( Clyde ) for trying to steal his listing, the most bizarre and unprofessional exchange I have ever had with someone who should be treating me , the client , as an important asset.

Refused to give us viewings when we told them we still had a property to sell. Viewing was scheduled for over a week away but the seller accepted an offer the first day of viewings. Even though we were told the company is very busy and couldn't arrange the viewings any earlier.

I met Colin whilst viewing a potential property for my Dad (which we ended up buying) and his knowledge, professionalism but most importantly his personable attitude made me sure he was the right person to help with selling my Dad’s property. Corum have sold 2 of my homes in the past year During first and second lockdown. The team were honestly there to support me every step of the way. Calling or emailing to update me with any new information promptly. I’m now on my own and it felt very daunting at the beginning .I buy and sell with Corum as their professionalism and client care is outstanding . The team show great empathy to everyone’s individual circumstances. Your estate agent experience shouldn’t be an added worry or stressor during this different and difficult time we are living in . From start to finish both moves the detail to safely with correct ppe was always adhered to. With correct social distancing always in place. When Bruce or Colin came to take photographs for my beautiful brochures they were always respectful and I wasn’t ever worried at all about having them in my homes during the pandemic. The girls in the office have many many years experience between them and I never felt they couldn’t answer any questions I had . Corum managed to carry on as normal as possible following government guidelines 20/21 And I thank them all in the Ayr Branch for their continuing support during and after my sales and purchase. Anyone hesitant at the moment about buying or selling a home I would percent recommend Bruce and his teamTo sell yours and also go out there way to help find you your new happy house. Can someone please explain to me why on your property posts you put offers over a certain £ amount but really you want £40k more than the offers over amount. Such a waste of time even looking at houses, it's dishearting and unethical, why not just start with a realistic offers over amount rather than wasting everyones time. Such a stupid system.

As a buyer I have now ruled out even considering buying a property for sale with this Estate Agent. Communication (unless they want you to buy a house you're unsure about) is terrible even if you note interest. I had noted interest on a house I was interested in but I had asked some further questions about possible damp that had come up in the home report. I didn't get an answer and five days later I called to ask about this. The house was just about (like in 2 hours) to go under offer. No one had even told me I just found out because I was happened to call. I noted interest on another property (was told I was the only one) and put in an offer- at this point was told there was another note of interest - not before. Called again a week later to get some basic information. Someone would call me back - they didn't. I called my solicitor because I felt there was something 'off' going on. After my solicitor called them I got a phone call back with an hour. It was like talking to a high school pupil having a mini tantrum. My offer was rejected on the day I made it, the communication errors were all my solicitors and how dare I make an offer (over the offers over price) that didn't reach the home report value and didn't I know other people would be offering more. So I guess if your happy to open your wallet and look pathetically at the Estate Agent while they take what they want - then this is the Estate Agent for you.
