TrustpilotThey are simply embarrassing.
They are simply embarrassing.THe full office is a concentration of incompetence and poor manners.I let them administer oone of my properties in Galsgow I spent months running after the mess they are doing.We still have 3 invoices outstanding to close accountancy (they deduced from teh rent without providing the documentation).They should carry out minor repairs (changing a plug and a fan) and they did not manage to get a quote for the repair in over 6 months.Definitely not recommended.

Do not rent from Clyde Property! All they care about is money! I'm renting the flat at Barrington Drive with my partner and my 1 year old. Mould issues since years but since 1 year the ceiling of the bathroom is completely covered with black mould! The wall was so damp that the radiator fell off in my sons bedroom. 6 months after being advised by the contractor to keep out my baby of the bathroom and the sleeping room, they dried out the place, new tiles, papered and painted over everything and asked for 30% more rent afterwards. But after 2 months the mould came back through the paint. Same pattern as before but the agent is blaming us now for poor ventilation! My sons health is affected, support letter from his GP but Clyde Property doesn't care. Our agent should be suspended for being more interested in profit than the health of the tenants! He also broke the law by sending workmen in without giving us notice which let to a very embarrassing situation for myself. But after dealing with these issues for a long time it seems to be a common thing for Clyde Property in general. So please choose another letting agency!

If I could give no stars I would! Requested a viewing 17 days Ago. Two further requests! Still waiting! Made a cash offer over the asking price subject to a viewing - rejected and still waiting For a viewing! Not sure if they put the offer to the buyer? If you compare the reviews on here and all agents reviews with Clyde Properties Facebook reviews it’s like two sets of opposites. The evidence and our experience has a distinctly bad smell! Buyer, renter or seller - be advised!Update! We withdrew our offer when it was rejected by the agent as I suspected they would use this to jack up the price with other potential buyers. I’ve just checked the sold price and it was less than we offered in cash at the outset of the sale. It makes me question whether our offer was ever passed on to the seller? Draw your own conclusions!Follow Up: If you were the seller of this property, I would be extremely P*****d off - as I checked the final sale price and it was lower that the offer we made originally when the property went to market. Either this agent offers bad advice to clients or they never submitted our offer to the client.

From the very start of the process they were completely on the ball. Excellent communication throughout - we knew exactly what was happening and when. We felt in safe hands with Gavin and Nicola. Still to conclude the sale of my property but whole experience from start to finish with Richy (then latterly Aisling) was excellent. Very professional and courteous throughout the whole process with excellent communications - kept me informed every step of the way and engaged direct with my Tenant to make life a lot easier. Clyde sold my house in Mosshead in record time. This is the third time I have used them and they are definitely the best estate agents in the area. I was impressed by their extensive level of expertise and accurate valuation. The photos of my house were fantastic and beautifully presented. Within hours, I had viewers and my house sold immediately. Thank you for such a fantastic, professional service in selling my house in record speed, especially during Covid lockdown. Thank you all so much, I’m absolutely delighted!

Would give no stars if possible. Disgusting quality of customer service. The standard of contractors clyde property use is truly appalling. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Contractors have left the building littered with masks and deny all knowledge despite being seen by more than one resident taking them off and throwing to the ground. According to clyde property the masks are "quantity controlled"so it couldn't possibly of be them lol. Have you heard of anything so ludicrous.On top of that in the communal area they have left the carpet with massive stains of coffee mixed with paint. This has been denied all knowledge of also. Now leaving myself and other residents to foot the bill of getting the carpet professionally cleaned. Don't know how clyde property think they are going to easily rent a flat with a massive coffee and paint stain right outside the door they must have some great sales skills 🤔 attention to detail is NOT their forte!!!!!

Very bad communication at the Clarkston branch, when they get your details you get calls 3/4 times a day but then suddenly when they have more interests in the property they are always to busy to even spare a min. I called for 3 days before I got a callback and that to because I said I'll be writing to the area manager.

Clyde property charge illegal fees prior to being able to rent a property. They appoint a company called Maras do a reference check. This involved a representative from Maras calling me and asking who I was employed by. My employer was not contacted. Clyde property know such fees are illegal. They have ignored my written letters asking for a refund.

We are living in unprecedented times. Where hardship is hitting every way of life. - and let me be clear - Clyde Property don't care. - Their emails are bordering on harassment, the people they send out to do jobs are clueless. I'll be honest, I fell behind with rent through no faulty of my own and provided proof. I gave them options, but they ignored them - They didn't service me notice in line with the new government guidelines during the pandemic or even scottish short tenancy agreement, they kept emailing me making threats. impacted my mental health. They DONT care about tenants. - They are well know for making up issues with getting back deposits. - I feel they are just as bad with landlords, making them pay through the nose for faults. - Example I had a leaky tap, 2 visits it took, no parts. he actually just removed a part and handed it to me to keep. its stopped the leak, but not really fixed the problem. DO NOT use Clyde property. Either a tenant or a landlord. They have the people skills of Polpott,

Used them to have valuation when selling my property, they were 35K under the top valuation (I chased them)The valuer tried to convince me that people would rather go to the new builds than buy my property for what I valued it at. I told him that at his valuation it will be gone in a day!! This made me think of estate agents who are valuing low so they can to get the deals done and commission in the bank.Needless to say I sold it and got my asking price... 25K over their valuation.Just be careful!

I have used Clyde Edinburgh and Clyde Glasgow several times in the past 5 or 6 years to manage letting of two properties. I've found them to be super-professional, straightforward, and always helpful. In both Glasgow and Edinburgh Clyde just seem to always be willing to go that little bit further in providing practical assistance - which is great and which I really appreciate as a non resident landlord. They seem to also be appreciated by the tenants whom I've had. Many thanks Clyde.

I have never rented a property from a more negligent company in all my life. They do not address any of the issues I have reported to them, regardless of how many times they are reminded, or how cheap it would be to fix. They acknowledge the work needs done and use every trick in the book to get you off the phone. They send contractors who do not do the work they have been asked to quote for. Clyde property are blatantly confrontational when asked for answers. I have heard more lies and diversion tactics than anyone should have to endure spanning months of tennancy. They are notably dearer than other agencies in the Glasgow West End area and I would advise anyone to avoid at all costs.

From our initial interest in renting a property and through a simple process, my daughter has now rented a lovely flat which was very suitable for her and was immaculate when the keys were handed over.
