We manage to find our first dream house on the Williams Properties website, we quickly organise a viewing with Nicola. I had a very disappointing experience with Williams Properties while trying to buy a property through their sales manager, Tim Miller. There was a serious lack of transparency throughout the process. I was told the property wouldn’t be taken off the market until I had paid for searches and instructed solicitors, which I did, only to later discover that key information had been withheld.

We’re sorry you feel disappointed, but key parts of this review are incorrect. No previous buyer ever withdrew due to a down-valuation, they were cash purchasers, no valuation took place. You claimed an Aylesbury estate agent informed you of this, but we have an email from them stating no such conversation took place.
Therefore, nothing was withheld from you at any stage.
When your lender’s surveyor down valued the property, you were offered all appropriate options. The suggestion to try another lender was professional guidance, not pressure.
You chose to withdraw your offer on 16 September rather than pursue a second valuation.
We appreciate the process was frustrating, but the claims of withheld information, pressure and misleading conduct are simply not true. We’re happy to discuss anything further with you directly.

GoogleReally disappointed with my recent dealings with such a well established and recommended firm. I enquired about a property that I was interested in viewing to be spoken to very abruptly by a lady hurrying me off the phone because she was with a client. After three days of hearing nothing back I called this morning with some optimism that perhaps it was just an unfortunate event to be told sorry, the land lord isn't happy. When I enquired about what in particular the landlord wasn't happy with, I was met with.. 'the amount of children'. When expressing that my family does not exceed the limit of people suitable for the size of the property and that I was of the belief this would be direct discrimination I was met with a blunt reply of silence. No query around my financial situation (high income) or current rental status (fantastic reference from my current landlord of 8years!). No discussion surrounding other properties available.
Really rude and unnecessary from the very start.
