I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding the handling of a viewing appointment for the one-bedroom property on Coppice Way, HP20 1XG. The experience I had with your agency was extremely disappointing and highly unprofessional. Initially, a viewing appointment was arranged, only for it to be cancelled by your office. Shortly afterwards, I was informed that the property was back on the market and was asked whether I would still like to attend a viewing. Despite the previous cancellation, I agreed and rearranged my schedule accordingly. I was then informed that the viewing time had been changed from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Before travelling, I specifically advised your staff that I would need to cancel another appointment in order to attend this viewing. I was nevertheless encouraged to proceed and assured that the viewing would take place. Upon arrival, slightly ahead of the scheduled time, I was informed that another applicant was viewing the property before us and that we should wait. Although that applicant was running late, we remained in our car as instructed, expecting to be called when it was our turn. Instead, after waiting, we received a call informing us that the property had been let to the previous applicant and that there was no point in us viewing it anymore. I find this treatment extremely disrespectful and discourteous. Not only was our time wasted, but we had also rearranged our commitments and travelled specifically for this appointment based on the information and assurances provided by your agency. What is particularly disappointing is that at no stage did anyone consider informing us sooner that an offer was being progressed or that the property might be taken before our viewing. Allowing prospective tenants to travel, wait outside the property, and then cancelling the viewing because the property has already been let demonstrates a significant lack of professionalism and consideration for your clients. This has been, without question, the worst experience I have had with a letting agency.

I'm quite surprised by the negative reviews as my experience so far has been nothing short of excellent (moved into their property recently). Emily, who is responsible for this property, is very friendly, responds to questions and requests immediately, and is super helpful in general. Quite a few things were not ideal and they got addressed right away. In fact, things got fixed of which I wasn't even aware that they were broken. So far, I'm super happy with RMA!

I’ve noticed a few negative reviews here, but based on my personal experience over the past three years, they don’t reflect the level of service I’ve received. In many cases, concerns seem to arise from deposit deductions due to damages, which is a standard and fair process followed by most letting agencies. From my side, everything has always been handled with complete transparency and professionalism. There are no hidden charges, and all terms are clearly explained from the beginning. As long as expectations are met, the process is smooth and straightforward.

I can't say enough good things about Michael Anthony Estate Agents (Aylesbury Branch) whilst we were purchasing and selling our home this year. We started the process in March when I called up and spoke to Lewis Parker about putting our house on the market. We listed this in spring on a Thursday, and by Sunday we had about 15 viewings and near enough 10 offers. Lewis and his colleagues dealt with all of this and advised us of the best offer to take, and as a result, we went with a first-time buyer. Fast forward a few months and we found our property, only for the vendor to take it off the market the day after our mortgage offer was confirmed.....a day later, Michael Anthony called us with a new house coming on to the market in the area we wanted, we viewed it, made an offer and it was accepted. A few months down the line and after a lot of waiting, we had to unfortunately, break the chain otherwise we would lose our buyer. Whilst making the decision as to what to do, Lewis went above and beyond putting us in touch with Air BnB owners he knew in order to help us find accommodation whilst waiting for our purchase to go through. He has been at the end of the phone every time I've needed to speak to him, worked out of hours replying to my endless questions, and has quite honestly made the whole process really stress-free. Whilst waiting for our purchase to go through we were handed over to Kristina in Sales Progression who has been equally as brilliant. They were both in touch regularly to update us on the status and things we were waiting on - we were always kept in the loop. You hear bad things about estate agents, and there's so much competition as to who to go to, but without a shadow of a doubt, I can say Michael Anthony have gone above and beyond for us throughout the last 9 months and made the whole process as smooth as possible for us.
