We were interested in two properties advertised through this agent, and unfortunately the experience was frustrating from start to finish. For the first property, we had viewing appointments confirmed twice, only for both appointments to be cancelled because the existing tenant declined the viewing. After this happened twice, it was difficult not to question whether access had actually been confirmed with the tenant before the appointments were offered and confirmed. This was particularly frustrating as I was travelling around two hours by car for these viewings, so a cancelled appointment was far more than a minor inconvenience. The second property was even more disappointing. We again travelled around two hours for the first viewing, only to find that there was an issue with the lock and we were completely unable to access the property. The viewing had to be rearranged, meaning another long journey was required. This is a basic issue that should have been checked before asking prospective tenants to travel such a significant distance for a confirmed viewing. Despite all of this, we remained genuinely interested in the property. After finally viewing it for a second time, we decided to put forward an offer. What happened afterwards was equally disappointing. There was no proactive follow up from the agent whatsoever. We had to contact them ourselves for an update, and it took a full day just to receive a response along the lines of “there is nothing I can do about that”, as the landlord was still making a decision. Eventually, it took a whole week for us to receive confirmation that our offer had been declined. I completely understand that the landlord has the right to consider different offers and ultimately decide who they want to rent to. However, the way this was handled left a very poor impression. From a tenant’s perspective, waiting a full week with no meaningful update after submitting an offer makes the process feel as though the landlord is simply shopping around for a better offer while the agent is happy to let prospective tenants wait indefinitely. Whether or not that was actually the intention, that is how the process felt from our side. The agent appeared far more concerned with protecting the landlord’s interests than with treating prospective tenants with basic courtesy and respect. We had already made multiple two hour journeys, dealt with cancelled viewings, had to return because the property could not be accessed, and then had to chase the agent ourselves after submitting an offer. After all of that, receiving a declined offer only after an entire week, with no proactive communication during that time, was extremely disappointing. Overall, this was one of the most frustrating property viewing experiences I have had. The lack of organisation, communication and consideration for tenants was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this agent to anyone looking to rent a property. ** the owner of the letting agency did eventually call me personally to apologise and explain the situation. I appreciated the effort he made to personally call me, apologise and explain the situation.

We have just sold our house Through Michael Anthony. The sales guys were really proactive and hardworking, so much so that they sold the house within a couple of weeks. Through no fault of their own, the sale fell through, and they were on it straight away, and once again made a sale within two weeks. Andrew (the manager) helped to make this sale transition to the new buyer as easy as possible for us. He was a pleasure to deal with, in fact all of the sales team were always very polite and professional. The sales progression team were very conscientious and kept us in the loop with every twist and turn that happened. However, I cannot thank Kristina enough for her tireless work. Her communication was excellent; she was so warm and kind. I felt I trusted her and was in safe hands as she always appeared to have my back. It was her positive attitude throughout that kept me going through the trials and tribulations of the sale. Thankyou Kristina, I can’t thank you enough. I went to purchase a house with Michael Anthony in aylesbury. And I had the worst experience ever. upon making an offer on a house and Michael Anthony accepting it By a phone call I was then not given the offer in writing which they should of done but They didn't. I then get a further phone call saying that my offer was accepted but the house had now gone to auction but if I still wanted it at my offer price i had to buy it at auction this was the only way. which I was not happy to do at this point i knew something was not right here. Then i find out the house doesn't go to auction! So I call Michael Anthony him self. He says a pack off lies to me about the house that its not for sale anymore. Which was all lies he had other buyers that wanted it so Michael himself had taken the house off the market and sold it from underneath me for more money probably so most of the phone calls I received were all a pack off lies from the boss himself and his assistant called Holly she had lied to me from the beginning about this house I expected better from this company more so from the boss himself that runs it. Plus i found most of the staff very rude in there Not very helpful at all im sure there just there to make has much money as they can So please beware of this company and the boss that runs it. I ended up losing the house I wanted for my family. I wish others to be safe and secure. Thanks for taking time to read this. All best........... Please find attached that i have now found an email that was sent to me that proves that my offer was accepted but the house was sold beneath me and the comment that it was going to auction but didn't so Michael Anthony's comment are false it reads : Hi Enzo, Thank you for your call. We can definitely ask the vendors whether they would be prepared to continue without auction conditions. In order to put this forward in the best light, please could you confirm with your solicitor what else might be required for you to exchange. I cannot recommend Michael Anthonys enough. This is now the second property I have dealt with Andy, and my first time dealing with Kristina from the Sales Progression Team, and once again the service was absolutely outstanding. Throughout the process there were several issues and delays, which were due to my own personal circumstances, but I honestly cannot thank Andy and Kristina enough for the patience, understanding and support they showed throughout. Rather than making things stressful, they took the time to help me navigate every step of the process and were always there to guide and reassure me. The communication from both of them was exceptional. I was regularly kept updated, they were always emailing, checking in, and ensuring I knew exactly what was happening. The best housing Estate Agency in the area. I had a premium experience with Michael Anthony Aylesbury for the last few months. The whole team provided first-class service with their top-tier expertise. Their branch manager Mr Andrew Kerr was exceptional. I was dealing with a few agents at the time, all the others wanted and cared was selling me a house, they made me feel like they clearly didn't care which house, as long as I chose one. One of them actually asked me to just make a decision when I made it clearly that I would like to book another viewing with my friend to get her opinion on it. I was not very impressed. Andrew came in at the right time. He obviously did his homework on gathering all the information about what I need and what I was looking for from his colleagues, (I have to say here that all the staff I dealt with from Michael Anthony Aylesbury never made me feel like I was pushed or rushed into any decisions, they showed me the houses I asked to view then leave it to me to decide as they understand how important it is for me to find my ideal home), he emailed me this house, we booked the viewings, they even accommodated my last minute bookings, at the time, me and my friend was waiting for a confirmation to see another property but didn't get it so I called Michael Anthony, asking to see this house instead. And that was what changed the whole direction. My friend was very impressed with this house. I had little doubts but luckily I had another viewing booked right the next day. I viewed it again with my boyfriend and all my doubts cleared. Andrew showed us this time, his luxury approach made me feel understood and truly listened for for the first time. He was very professional. He kept clear communication between us. He gave me constant updates and was transparent throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, he was always available when I needed, I could just call him and he will explain things to me until I was satisfied. Andrew has got great communication skills and he was also very open and honest about everything. I was always kept in the loop. I was also very impressed at how incredibly responsive they are as a team. Everyone was ready to act quickly and got me the immediate updates I needed throughout the whole process. They have been very efficient from start to finish. I'm waiting to move into my new house soon and I am very grateful for Andrew and the whole team at Michael Anthony Aylesbury. What a lovely end to the journey that started about 18 months ago. Looking for a property when almost ready to give birth comes with challenges, so had to put it on hold for a little bit but when I felt ‘normal!’ again, we resumed our search. Andy was one of the first agents to show us around properties, and it was a nice ending that he helped us with our last home. We appreciated his pleasant, calm and professional approach and demeanour; we never felt hurried or as if we were time wasters.
