Viewed a rental property at Harleston…

Viewed a rental property at Harleston which is on for £2,000 pm and if I was the landlord I wouldn’t be particularly happy with the viewings being undertaken. My daughter rang for a viewing and got toldthey are only doing viewings over 1 days and if they had a cancellation someone would be in contact with her. I rang and got an appointment. Surely appointments are done until a tenant is found? A reputable company like Fine and Country I would certainly expect the member of staff to be a bit more enthusiastic about promoting the property and certainly a bitmore clued up on it bearing in mind it had been up for rent since the beginning of February. I appreciate it is COVID times but being told to show yourself around and the few questions like is that a log burner ....yeah I think so! How much land is included.....I don’t know I am waiting for that groundsman to confirm and what outbuildings are there that we can use which were all in the same areas....:oh you can’t use one because they are storing their stuff in it! Which one.......the larger one! How many stables are there? 3 I think, but you can walk yourself down there afterward! She obviously didn’t want to go out in the cold! I felt she was totally disinterested. I really couldn’t be bothered to ask any more questions and totally put me off the property. If this is the customer service a tenant receives trying to promote the property I shudder to think the service if anything goes wrong. I would love to know what the poor landlord is paying for this shambolic service

I can recommend this Agency for the Colchester Area

I can echo the other positive reviews here but specifically my praise and thanks are directed towards Tristan and Charlotte of the Colchester branch. Fine and Country managed to produce a constant and almost weekly stream of viewers (which was in direct contrast to the agency, apparently of note, that had previously marketed my property). Tristan and Charlotte have been excellent in remaining in contact with me, they have been very professional and patient throughout a very complicated sale of previously unregistered property and land, they never lost interest in dealing with the myriad of problems that my sale threw up! Thank you

In trying to find a new property for my elderly mother I have experienced both ends of the spectrum in regards to estate agents. One agent who is prepared to tell blatant lies to secure their commission on the sale and the other end, which was Fine & Country in Woodbridge. Especially the professional service provided by their Mike Warren, he couldn’t have done more to help my mum and I to successfully complete on the purchase of her new home and in double quick time. They were extremely professional and ensured the purchase of what is now our lovely new home went really smoothly. Great communication, very calm and professional manner and lovely people to deal with. Great friendly personal service

Katie Powney at Fine and Country's Uckfield office was great. She worked really hard and was always helpful and friendly. She must have shown my house 30 times! After accepting an offer and then having it fall through twice we finally managed to sell the house albeit at a lot less than we had started out with (Initially Fine and Country valued it at 575k and we ended up selling it for 500k). Throughout all these disappointments Fine and Country remained positive.The only reason I have not given them 5 stars is because it took a year to get here and I don't really think that was their fault.

If you are after a dedicated estate agent F&C is the one!

Less than 3 months ago we booked an appointment with Marie from Fine and Country to view a house in Northamptonshire. She showed us around the property and we were both absolutely in love with it. Next day we made an offer and after that we were in touch with Marie daily! She has been so great chasing both ours and the seller’s solicitors, updating us, chasing us, chasing sellers! Tristan in Colchester F&C was superb…

Tristan in Colchester F&C was superb throughout the sale of our Suffolk property. Even our purchasers were complementary about his work and demeanour. We have bought and sold aprox 5 times in the past 20 Yrs and he is the best Estate Agent we have ever had dealings with. Basically, all the service level promises he made when pitching for the agency he delivered on eg feedback from every viewing, only sending credible viewers not time wasters, and he assisted the speed of a 10 week from viewing to completion turn-around of a complicated sale which might not have completed otherwise. If you don’t use him you’ll be sorry.

Anita our local agent has been superb. Right through the first lockdown and without us being in the house as we had to move for work.Anita and the Fine & Country team have been amazing. They have handled house viewings, offers, surveys and other related activities. Fine & County, Diss Norfolk have been superb from start to finish. Real experts. From an excellent appraisal and an honest, reasoned valuation and follow-up personal involvement by Sales Director Chris Scott to managed viewings by an enthusiastic Senior Sales Negotiator, Tania - who always went the extra mile to secure the sale. As well as day-to-day management, communication, preparation and oversight by Office Manager Sue. Certainly the A team in my opinion. Their brochure was top quality and unique, involving seller input via a “one on one” specialist reporter’s interview, as well as professional drone overflights and excellent photography. They were recommended to me and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to you - especially if you have a mature, Grade I or II Listed dwelling. Marie at Fine and Country is absolutely amazing!

We have just purchased a property through Fine and Country and Marie the agent dealing with the sale was amazing throughout the whole process! When she showed us around the property she was knowledgeable, polite and professional and was able to answer any questions we had about the property. Once our offer was accepted by the vendor Marie contacted us weekly with updates regarding the entire chain, including updates on our own sale and what needed to be done. She spoke with Solicitors and other estate agents in the chain and always knew what was happening. When things weren’t moving as we wanted or we couldn’t get the answers we needed she spent time chasing down answers and always updated us quickly. Her knowledge around the process of buying and selling houses is second to none and she happily offers support and guidance. We can not recommend her highly enough, without Marie our sale and purchase would have been a far more stressful experience. If we ever move again Marie would be the first person I’d call!
