Be warned of Colchester Branch

Please be warned about the Colchester branch. I signed the contract, but had a fourteen day cooling off period to exercise. I was ask to pay £360 upfront, no other agent asked for this. The branch compiled the property details using the previous details from when I purchased the property, so they were totally incorrect. No mention of all the £100,000 updating I had done. They then took photos which were unusable. Sunlight blocking the property, all family photos unobscured, mirror reflections, cupboard door handles sticking out at the side of shots. I could had done better myself with my iPhone. Withdrew from the contract after five days but they refuse to refund my money, so I have paid for horrific photos. Be warned!

Tania at F&C in Diss was awful on the…

Tania at F&C in Diss was awful on the four houses we went and viewed with her. She put a downer on all of the houses we looked at and pointed out all of the negatives of the property with hardly any facts. I would never put my own property on the market with F&C due to our experience with her so have a negative view of this estate agents. Name of company is overrated.

Fine & Country, excellent. Marketing strategy for our town house was bang on, sold in less than 24hours, brought our beautiful new home through them in 2 days and 8 weeks later were here. If Carlsberg made estate agents......

Marie was the estate agent for the house we recently bought. She was extremely knowledgeable of the whole process and very involved with our chain through to completion responding to messages at all times of the day. She went above and beyond and was very proactive in ensuring we were very comfortable with our house purchase both pre-sales and after-sales. The bottle of Cava on moving day was an especially nice touch! 😊

How it should be but often isn’t!

After little or no response from 2 other agents (I know it’s been busy but a simple acknowledgment wouldn’t hurt) we contacted the Fine & Country, Norwich office. They were excellent throughout the process from getting our sale up and running quickly to keeping the conveyancers on their toes. Lisa was amazing

Lisa was amazing. Managed the viewing, and handled the offer and when we had the ‘chain’ niggles as expected kept a constant line of comms to get us across the line. I spoke to a number of agents across Sutton and whilst some of the individuals were good they weren’t as strong as Lisa. I wish I had sold my house through her and would strongly recommend you to use her.

Amazing service

Buying a house from overseas (without seeing it due to Covid) was rather stressful! Whilst some agents - perhaps not surprisingly- thought we weren’t serious buyers, Arma was the opposite.
