Chose to go with Brown & Merry after a great buying experience years ago. Unfortunately appears times have changed! The initial consultation regarding the sale of our property was excellent, but unfortunately the experience declined significantly after we signed the contract.

GoogleI used Brown & Merry to buy the property. Allan and the team from the Aylesbury office were very helpful and supportive during this whole process. Knowing I was a first-time buyer, he explained the steps to me and helped me chase solicitors when required. He was constantly updating and trying to speed up the process and resolve the bottlenecks. Overall an excellent experience and I felt that I was given the proper attention and support throughout

I asked for an evaluation.. this was fine.. no problems.. but I chose a different agent and now 4 months later they still regularly phone me up, once even saying "hello , this is your estate agent".. errr NO... they are abusing the fact that I gave them my number and now I cannot get rid of them.. Wish I had never done so. I am now apart of their ' any phone call is work' policy. B&M are owned by connels and the BBC has a page about their dubious sales tactics. They have a tv show about it also.

Despite their friendly and professional appearance, this company (Wendover branch) have proved to be all but incompetent in marketing our family home. Having redecorated the whole house to improve our sale potential, B & M failed to take any fresh photos of the house for 3 weeks! They then bungled the renewed photo set by mixing the previous photos with the new ones, making it visually a dogs dinner. Lastly the quality of the photographs was extremely poor - not highlighting any good features, not close enough, pictures of a floor, or focussing on a bed. Absolutely useless.

GoogleBrown and Merry dealt with the sale of my house and it was the best experience I ever had with an estate agent. It was 6 months with many ups and downs as the housing market went through a bit of a crisis. They stuck with me and went the extra mile to sell my house. Unlike other agents who were not proactive, B and M rang round people and the person who finally bought my house was a person who had been contacted by these wonderful people. They are happy with the house and I am very happy at my forever home. Will and Martin especially put up with my questions (and fears) and encouraged me when I was going to give up. I will never forget the great service you did for me. Thanks guys for holding my hand right to the end.

GoogleWe dealt with Alan,Matt and Edd at Brown and merry in Aylesbury. From first point of contact they have been very professional and polite. Informing me of everything that was happening throughout the sale of our property. There was never any hard sales pitch when looking to market our property, they gave us plenty of time to think about our options and to look at other agents without feeling pressured. They provided evidence on what they believe we should price our house at. They are in a league of there own compared to other agents we had considered. With Viewings we had specific instructions, as we have a nervous cat and they where listened to. 10/10 A**** great Job guys Thank you.

We have been dealing with Loren, who has arranged our mortgage and so much more, from day one of viewing the property. She has honestly gone above and beyond for our sale and to ensure that not only did we get the very best mortgage offer, to suit us, but to ensure that every step of the process has been as seamless as possible. We faced a couple of issues with the sale itself and Loren was always there to reassure us and push the sale forward for us, we honestly couldn't have done this without Loren. She has given us absolutely incredible service, is polite, friendly, helpful and kept in contact with us at all times. We just want to thank Loren for everything she has done for us and would most certainly recommend going to her for a mortgage or remortgage, no matter whether you are buying a house through Brown & Merry or not.

I just received call from them regarding my property that is on the market, the "young adult" that called me told me my photos are terrible and the marketing is really bad. when asked why, there of course, wasn't much of an answer. I just find this totally brazen and un-cooth to put down small independent agencies with no substance behind your claims that "your marketing is better" when it quite frankly, is definitely not. I purchased my property through Brown and Merry 5 years ago so they have my details on file. When I bought it they had done several price reductions and the agent lied to me about the parking, so thanks, Even if I were to swap agents, it would not be to you.
