Extremely disappointing experience at check‑out. After returning the property in good condition, this agency attempted to take additional money with little justification and very poor communication. Charges were raised at the last minute, explanations were vague, and it felt like they were trying their luck rather than acting fairly or transparently. The process was stressful and unnecessarily confrontational, especially at a point when tenants should be supported, not pressured. I had to challenge the charges myself and request evidence repeatedly, which should not be necessary. I would strongly caution future tenants to document absolutely everything and be prepared to dispute fees.

Upon requesting a viewing for a rented property, the service and correspondence from Charlie was most professional and courteous. I informed him of my requirements for me and my daughter. That afternoon, Charlie contacted me with a possible 2-bed availability in two weeks. He managed to get a viewing that Saturday. He explained in great detail that the tenant was moving and the procedure to make an offer, referencing and the deposit scheme. On the Monday, Lara contacted me and within 5 days, I was accepted as the proposed tenant. I was impressed with her service, keeping me informed with all the documentation required for the referencing company procedures. Lara went above and beyond to get me the property. From the initial viewing, We moved in within the 2 weeks. I have rented in the past from other estate agents, but can honestly say that Lara and Charlie went above my expectations. They are both a credit to Alexander and Co and I throughly recommend them to anyone seeking a rental property. I am more than happy with the property and hope to make this our home for many years.

We moved into our perfect home back in October and Ann-Marie has been an absolutely fantastic property manager. Our house is an old barn which inevitable needs some TLC and maintenance from time to time, and on the occasions where we've needed to raise a repair Ann-Marie very quickly made arrangements and kept us informed throughout.
