GoogleI have been liaising with Lisa Swinnerton, from the Atherstone branch , for a rental property, from the minute I met Lisa at the property for a viewing I knew I was in safe hands, she is very knowledgeable and professional at what he does. She is also very honest and nothing is too much trouble for her, I had lots of questions and concerns but Lisa was so supportive, when I decided the property was for me Lisa helped with the acceptance and did everything she could to make me successful. when I was accepted Lisa's support didn't stop there, she was efficient and sent all the required documents to me for signing and making this a seamless process for me. Lisa is absolutely amazing I couldn't recommend Lisa and Howkins and Harrison enough.

I've used Howkins and Harrison 3 times now, twice when purchasing and once when selling. Throughout all of those transactions, David and Jamie in Northampton have been completely fair and proactive in chasing things up. None of them at the branch exhibit any of the stereotypical estate agent vibes, which is what made me go with them above all else when selling. I had a few agents to value and one of them tried to push me into signing with pretty underhand tactics. Jamie just came for a chat, explained how he would do things and was upfront with what was good and bad about the house, and anything that could cheap and easily be remedied. Throughout the selling process, my buyers have had some things they wanted changing, or the agreed price altering - Jamie and David were brilliant at being fair and sitting in the middle, ensuring it was as fair as possible on both sides. Most people you talk to (including me with most other agents!) come out of the house purchase/sale process feeling like the estate agents have done very little for their comission, but with Howkins and Harrison I always feel they have earned it, and the deal wouldn't have happened anywhere near as easily without them. Would thoroughly recommend and will be using them again the next time I come to sell.

Old review before when our review was asked for their agency: Highly recommend Howkins & Harrison to anyone looking to rent a property. We had a few concerns and Lisa (lettings manager) not only just listened patiently but also reassured us and made sure our concerns were dealt with promptly. I am very satisfied with this agency as a tenant and would recommend Lisa Swinnerton to anyone looking for a good property agent. Efficient, professional and very friendly!

Lisa is efficient and just a few days after the property was advertised she had viewings and she put forward several prospective tenants. Once we had made our decision she has ensured all checks complete, tenancy agreement signed, inventory complete and a move in date sorted. We’ve been with Howkins and Harrison now for over 3 years and we do owe a lot to them in finding the perfect house to rent. At a time of desperate need during COVID they found us a house which to this day has been so far the best we’ve lived in. Any problems or issues with the house are never a trouble or problem, at times I feel a bit of a pain as 1 thing goes in the house and other problems seem to follow but they are quick to reply and get on top of whatever that problem is. A special shout out to Nicole Ashenden from the Daventry Lettings Team for her prompt, kind replies. All those who work in the Daventry office are there to help you by always being at the end of an email or phone call.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Very rude and stuck up, make a conscious effort to look down their nose at tenants. Kate in particular is exceptionally rude. Have had viewings turn up which we weren’t told about, then the agent told the prospective buyers that we had been given notice to leave in front of us, which I had to to correct her was incorrect. Never told when viewings have taken place and then treated with utter rudeness when call them to ask if it’s been done. Would avoid the Daventry branch like the plague.

Drew Stewart of Northampton did an excellent job of looking at the bigger picture and quickly resolving an internal H&H issue, finding a solution to the main issue and apologising to myself and the previous tenants. I was told that (a team member) tried to get extra rooms painted which i hadn’t requested which caused delays and upset the previous tenant and myself. This should never have happened in the first place, if H&H had been looking after my house properly then the issue wouldn’t have been there in the first place. Thank you Drew for understanding and being professional about this and keeping me updated daily. Nice one, you get 5 Stars. Hope H&H sales team becomes as dynamic as you at selling my property.

GoogleWe have been renting through H&H for over 8years and recently due to a change in management they have failed to remain professional, competent and polite to us as a family, not only myself but my father in law also who recently moved letting agents due to the manager's rude, abrupt, and unprofessional manner. We have been nothing but model tenants but the manager makes it clear if you speak up for yourself she will go out her way to cause nothing but grief for you. I would not recommend the Atherstone branch as a professional, trustworthy letting agent.

From the very start of our experience we felt very confident that our house sale was in safe hands . The video and photos were far better than our previous estate agent and they organised 4 viewings on the first day of sale and they sold house on 2nd day. The follow up service answering queries by Andy and Matilda was excellent till the sale was completed.

GoogleI dealt with Linda over a purchase of a property and she was absolutely brilliant. Linda really went above and beyond for me and even put her own time aside so as to help me out. Linda offered old school treatment where you did as much as you could for someone and to find someone who is willing to eat in to their own time, make last minute arrangements and make someone else a clear and absolute priority.
