Jessica williamson made my whole experience of selling and buying a fantastic one, she was always on the other end of the phone, answered any questions we had about anything, nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you Jessica 😘 The Solicitors on the other hand where hard to reach, I felt they never really engaged with us, when you have never done this before, you look for a guiding hand with knowledge of whats happening and someone you can rely on, we don't feel this was what we got, unfortunately more often than not we felt ignored. Yes the portal was there, but never updated, it was a more of a toolfor Blackburn Birchall to ensure they ticked boxes. Sorry that was our experience.

Positive points: Branch Manager was very helpful during initial process, and guided me very well and house went up on sale fairly easily and quickly. The drawing of contract was easy.Negative points: Once house was sold, Lack of communication, I wasn’t kept up to date, I had to do lots of chasing around and even with that I would get redundant answers. Any information I was seeking from seller where agent has to act as a bridge, it was almost impossible asking them for help. Staff not very helpful. Based on this I think they are overpriced for services they give. Will I recommend R&D? No!

Recently used Ryders Uppermill to sell my property and then went onto purchase a property through them. Honestly a great experience from start to finish. The staff are very helpful, from Charlotte's communication organising viewings, bookings etc to Jenny Boyle who literally took all the pressure off me and my family when moving house. Nothing was too much and when i needed Jenny the most, without any comeback or moaning she jumped on it. Great experience. Thank you very much. Will defo use Ryder and Dutton Uppermill going forward

Ada worked hard to try and keep everyone infomed even through some parties/solicitors were less than helpful at times. One thing that would have helped would be to tell buyers/ sellers not to book vans until they recieve written confirmation. As a person who doesn't buy/sell houses often that would have really helped.

There were a number of issues with intending purchaser's but Lisa maintained a positive and helpful approach throughout.I was kept fully informed of matters throughout.The property was put on the market in December 2023 at a somewhat optimistic value and took about 10 months to eventually sell. Lisa was involved throughout to bring about the sale.

Ryder & Dutton Rawtenstall were absolutely amazing and provided a fantastic service for the purchase of our new home. Alex McMahon was my point of contact for the purchase as she was just fantastic, I cannot praise her enough! She was always there to answer all my questions and she made the whole process so easy and stress free which was massively appreciated. Her communication was fabulous and I was kept updated regularly and my emails were always answered promptly. Alex was super friendly and professional and it was lovely to finally meet her when we collected our keys from the Rawtenstall office. We were made to feel so welcome and everyone in the office was so excited for us and it just made the experience so enjoyable. It took a lot longer than was meant too as this was a sale with no chain . The buyers did not have the funds readily available as we was told before the sale . This was the cause of the delay. The aftersales advisor was great keeping ontop of the buyer and their solicitor.

A massive thank you to Fiona & Kia

A massive thank you to everyone at Ryder & Dutton in particular Fiona & Kia at the Holmfirth office. We had a really poor experience with Simon Blyth and switched to Ryder & Duton with Fiona & Kia taking personal responsibility for our sale. Fiona even offered additional advice on how to market the property, in particular the front elevation of the property. We liked the idea of adding some planters to the front aspect that we have taken these to our new property and still love them. Our sale was prolonged, approximately 6 months from agreeing the sale to completion and during this time we have really appreciated the effort and personal investment and support that Fiona & Kia privided in securing viewings and the eventual sale. Moving home is very stressful, but Fiona & Kia made sure that we were not only kept updated on progress but were proactive in chasing updates / information from the chain, which was really reassuring that the sale was progressing. Without this I honestly think we would still be sat in our old house. Thanks again for making the move to our dream home come true. Tim & Pauline

Helpful, Efficient, Friendly and Proactive

Renting my house was easy and quick with the help of Rachael Howard-Cofield, Ellouise Dagnall and Joshua Albanese. Rachael was extremely helpful and always kept me updated throughout the process. Rachael would always get back to me within an hour of my email and helped move the process along very quickly. She was always very polite and friendly and was a pleasure to talk to. Ellousie was very efficient when sending over our contracts making sure everything was done as quicky as possible for us. Josh was very friendly when showing us around the house and when giving us the keys he took his time to show us where all the metres are and other useful information etc. Josh also did our inventories which were very detailed. I would highly recommend using Ryder and Dutton, all of the staff that helped us were extremely reliable and friendly. These staff members are a credit to the company!

They have been worth every penny. It's not often you get great customer service anymore, but I really feel that we've had it.
