in two words, CUSTOMER SERVICE! Jade and Michaela were absolutely terrific! They individually and collectively kept the sale moving forward, going above and beyond to make sure the sale was a success. An example is that I live and work in the US and they were able to help find service providers to make the property presentable for the purchasers, so they didn't lose their affinity for the property! Both Jade and Michaela, kept me apprised throughout the process. They always answered the phone and always relayed a positive attitude! It is hard to find good people in todays environment so it is a testament to R&D that they can attract and keep such talent. I interviewed several realtors to sell this property, which had geographical challenges for me. A very professional team.

It was a long and tiring journey between marketing our house and completion of sale but throughout the Ryder and Dutton team kept us updated with every twist and turn. Many of the team helped us at one point or another but special mention to Jade who was constantly 'on the ball' with her quick responses to all of our (many) queries. Hats off, too, to Michela beavering away on our behalf with constant 'harrassing' of involved legal representatives. The whole team made our journey from decision to completion easy.

Great experience!

Me and my husband recently sold our property through Ryder & Dutton and we can’t thank them enough for the smooth journey. We were apprehensive at the beginning as we know with the current market, houses are taking a while to sell however the process from start to finish was very easy. Chris initially valued our property and just speaking with him put us at ease, he was very approachable and lovely to speak to. Then we liaised with Naveen who was really helpful with going back and forth with us and our buyers, she always kept us in the loop even if there was nothing going on she kept us reassured through the process. Our move manager was Catherine and she was an absolute delight to liaise with, she responded efficiently through emails and phone calls and kept us updated at all times. We would highly recommend Ryder & Dutton and will be looking to potentially plan our next move with them :)

Had amazing experience with Ryder & Dutton estate Agents. Freya and Rachael Hilton were spot on with their work. Can’t thank Rachael Hilton for making our move so easy and convenient. We had only 4 weeks to move, we were really stressed but Rachael and Freya arranged our viewing according to the time that suited us as me and my husband both are working full-time. All the documentation work was done on time. Throughout the process Rachael kept us updating time to time and within 3 weeks we were in our new home. We recently sold our home with Ryder & Dutton and purchased our next one through them at the same time. Kris came out to do the initial valuation and was very thorough, informative but most of all, lovely. We’d spoken to another estate agent previous to Ryder & Dutton who didn’t come out to value our house, just had a quick phone call and that was it. Kris came prepared with a folder of information about our house and went through everything ensuring we fully understood the process. Once on the market we were looked after by Naveen, who again, was absolutely brilliant. From booking in viewings, phoning giving us feedback and securing our buyer, she was nothing but personable, professional and really on the ball with everything giving us updates as and when she could. When buying our next home we dealt with Lauren who just like Kris and Naveen, was professional, personable and kept us up to date every step of the way. Both Naveen and Lauren had the answer to every question I asked and made the whole process of buying and selling as stress free as possible.

The lovely Jenna at Ryder & Dutton Heywood. I cannot praise her enough. Her communication was excellent, she made the whole process so easy for me. I am neurodiverse and struggle with paperwork and long processes. Jenna helped me through each stage, clarifying info from solicitors, passing messages through the chain and remaining positive. I had a change of circumstance 2 weeks before completion meaning we had to start again but everyone pulled together to get me to complete on time. Happy with the service

I recently bought a property through Ryder & Dutton and was very happy with the service provided!The sale didn't go too smoothly and was a lengthy process (through no fault of Ryden & Dutton). Matt was there to help throughout. I was also away for a full month towards of the sale where there were a few complications. Matt was great in these circumstances and helped by communicating going back and forth with all parties to find out exactly what was needed to get the sale complete for me not long after I got back. Highly recommend Ryder and Dutton, the staff are very attentive, flexible & explain things really well for first time buyers. Really appreciated them throughout buying my first home. I first had Kristen who then went on Mat leave and handed over to Robyn and the handover was flawless, both were fantastic. My only bit of advice - After having my offer accepted, I was contacted by R&D and recommended a solicitors called Conveyancing home limited based in Leeds who I absolutely would not recommend they were beyond horrific, caused me an incredible amount of stress and anxiety.

Choose your recommended conveyancers wisely

I am giving 4 stars not because the service provided by Ryder & Dutton wasn’t very good, because it was. Our contact Laura Chadderton was always available to answer any questions. The issue was the buyers solicitors (ConveyancingHome) who were on the Ryder & Dutton recommended list. They were awful unprofessional and had to be chased constantly and it got that bad that I had to raise a complaint with them directly. The whole process has been very stressful. Moving is stressful enough without conveyancers/solicitors making it worse. A huge thank you to Laura who I give 5 stars to.
