We had such a great experience selling our home and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us through it. From the start, Matt and Lara were so friendly, approachable, and really knew their stuff. They kept us in the loop the whole way through, which made everything feel a lot less stressful, and were always quick to answer any questions we had. Their marketing worked brilliantly and we had plenty of interest, leading to a fantastic offer. But what really stood out was how supportive and down-to-earth they were, it felt like they genuinely cared about getting the best outcome for us. We recently used Hunters in Ashford to sell our house and the whole process was completely transparent and simple. Matt came to our house to talk us through the process and to do a tour - he explained everything clearly and managed some of our anxieties about selling. We were advised what to put our house up for on evidence from the recent and current market and we then put it up for a price we were happy it would sell for. No pressure at all on price, we made the final decision. We ended up selling within a few hours of it going on the market and at full asking price! We were really happy with the quality of the advert and pictures which we were also asked to have input into. We then coincidentally, ended up buying a house that was being sold by Hunters and this process was also simple. Lara and Theresa in particular were communicative throughout the whole time, and Lara, particularly in the last couple of weeks, where we were trying to push for completion pre Christmas (which we managed) was absolutely amazing. Hunters are professional, friendly and communicative and would highly recommend to anyone in the Ashford area. Also thanks to Cameron for taking my many phonecalls in the week before completion trying to get everything sorted. We are now happily in our forever home before Christmas and know this is thanks to the team in the Ashford branch! Thank you all 🙌🏻

Cannot recommend Hunters enough if anyone is considering moving home. The entire team worked so hard on the sale of our home, and they are all so friendly and helpful during what is often a challenging time. Matt was our first point of contact and he listened and gave very honest info and advice which was hugely appreciated when not everyone always is in the house buying game. Lara and Kayla worked hard with all the visits and were both so friendly and showed everyone round for us. Theresa was an absolute angel in progressing our sale and was often the only person involved n the chain giving us weekly updates and chasing things up which was hugely appreciated. The team are brilliant at letting you know about other services they have or affiliates they have (i.e. solicitors) but there is no hard sale and they were respectful that we had a mortgage broker and solicitors sorted, whereas another agent said we couldn't make an offer on a house unless we used their solicitors. The team are transparent, friendly and responsive, all things which we massively appreciated in the sale of our home.

We can thoroughly recommend Hunters of Ashford if you want a professional and capable team handling your sale or purchase. Matt the branch manager was brilliant at our initial meeting giving us sound advice on price etc and Lara was great when showing clients around. She really helped to sell our property very quickly and kept me well informed. And once the sale was in progress Theresa, the Sales Progressor was amazing. She kept us fully informed and chased all of the chain on a regular basis. Hunters impressed us from the start. When we viewed the property, they took the time to address all our questions either immediately or shortly after the viewing. We've been searching for a while, so we know some estate agents are better than others at handling viewings, and Hunters definitely left a positive impression. Matt and Lara were fantastic. As first-time buyers with many questions, we really appreciated their friendly approach and their willingness to find answers for us or arrange additional viewings when needed. During our third viewing, the agent who showed my friend and me around was incredibly patient, even helping me take measurements. We also really liked that Hunters has a Sales Progressor, Theresa, who ensured our experience went smoothly and without unnecessary delays. Thanks to her efforts, we completed in just 2 ½ months. One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

Matthew and Lara were phenomenal. When first speaking with them around the potential sale of the property they were extremely knowledgable about sales recently going on, the areas expected viewing rate etc. They also explained how they already have a list of existing clients that are interested in properties in the area and ensured us that they would be able to get the ball rolling quickly. The valuation process was really nice and smooth. All of our questions were answered immediately or at their earliest opportunity to get back to us. The first expression with Lara really set the tone for this transaction. Frankly she was the only agent I met during my buying process who a) able to answer any questions I had straight away b) I felt Lara actually came prepared for viewing. Negotiating was easy and straightforward. As an improvement point not specifically Lara there was some information which I felt wasn’t correct in respect to service charge but I suppose they are also working with info provided to them and it was later cleared. Second person I like to mention is branch manager Matt. He helped to lighten up the mood when we faced obstacles. He was super flexible and helpful, even arranged a random boiler service for me in no time. Quick to respond to messages, clear prompt communications! This was my first UK purchase - and after reading horror stories - I was very positively disappointed. Lara and Matt is credit to this organisation! They are meeting customer needs, certainly met mine.
