Hobbs and Parker were fantastic in the purchase of our first home. Gracie, who handled our case, was brilliant! She helped chase our solicitors who were difficult at best and helped our purchase move through as quickly as possible. We were always able to contact her easily and she responded to our emails promptly. Can’t fault her! Thank you!

GoogleWe bought via Hobbs Parker and it was a very pleasant and professional experience. Compared to other agents it felt very honest, no extra hard sells on products, needing mortgage advice etc. If I was selling I think the way the properties are presented adds to the prestige of the product. As a rule the best houses go on Hobbs Parker. A huge thanks to Sue with her dedicated sales progression, you were always so diligent and amazing, smoothing out any minor bumps along the way - thank you!

After renting a property for 14 months, in Lenham Kent, which was listed through Hobbs & Parker. It seemed well presented property which was a converted pig shed of some description. This was on a track with access to farm equipment which I didn’t realise was so busy. Our cars were parked where the farm machinery and all other farm traffic passed, this left the cars covered in mud etc. the road leading to the property was full of pot holes and puddles of dirty water, it caused 2 tyres to be damaged. The landlord Ivor only gravelled the road once, which made it precariously difficult to circumvent the large holes

GoogleIve had very poor communication and reliability from Hobbs, to the point we now actively try to avoid houses listed by them When we wanted a valuation, fee details were difficult to get and multiple appointments were missed with last minute excuse During property viewings, emails often went unanswered and promised follow-up calls did not happen. Multiple times I was given information about listings that were inflated or later proved to be inaccurate. Overall, they seem to coast on a good name but do not offer the service to match

GoogleWe recently sold our house with the help of Greg and Sue. It was a very smooth process. Greg helped us to decide a fair and realistic price. Sue supported us throughout the sale process. She was very professional, provided good advice and kept us updated regularly. In the end, we sold our property for a very good price. Right from the beginning, Claudine in Ashford has been friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Renting can be very stressful and you often feel judged but Hobbs Parker have made me feel like their only customer. Everything has just been perfect, I can't praise them enough!! GoogleThe staff at their Tenterden Branch have worked their socks of to sell our house. They provided a steady stream of viewings and when a chain was in place ensured we were kept up to date with progress both on our sale and purchase. With a couple of buyers dropping out along the way it has been a long and testing journey but Hobbs have provide the support and put the effort in to deliver. Well done and thanks to Simon & his team and in particular Christina our lead contact. They are a good bunch of folk to work with and we highly recommend them.

TrustpilotCan't be trusted regardless of if you're a tenant or landlord
After renting a property for over 7 years, we were hit with a 17% rent increase, and in light of the large increase asked if it could be reviewed in light of issues like worn decor, carpeting, and damp. We also asked for our exact email to be forwarded to the landlord so our words didn't get misrepresented. Instead of receiving the expected verbal engagement, we received a Section 21 notice. Since moving out, we have discovered the landlord had no knowledge of the situation, our emails weren’t passed on, and, it transpires the agent, Moya at Hobbs, had herself instigated the rent review with the landlord, then telling him we’d refused to pay when we asked for a review. Tenants aren’t considered here, and landlords should be wary too - you could lose good tenants for the sake of this firm taking over and making decisions for you.

GoogleMe and my partner who is due in February had an awful experience with a landlord. This previous landlord gave us 2 months to move when we had only been living at the property for 4 months. This of course caused a lot of stress on us both but when contacting Hobbs Parker and informing them of our situation they helped us in every way they can. The team managed to find me and partner a property that we absolutely love. The team at Hobbs Parker were amazing to deal with especially Claudine who helped us so much with advice and kept in contact with us. Thank you so much Hobbs Parker from me and Ellie! The team at Hobbs Parker were supportive throughout the entire house selling process, keeping us up to date at all times and booking in a good number of viewings considering the current tricky state of the market. Excellent photos made the social media posts truly eye catching. Even when solicitors made it feel as if we were never going to get there, the team worked hard to pull it all together. A lovely bunch of people, we were really impressed.

After a number of months searching we found our near perfect property. We made an offer and agreed a purchase price. As we are in the process of selling our existing property (a number of viewings and second visits) we agreed to provide the Tenterden sales team with a weekly update on the progress of our sale. In return we asked them to notify us of any other interest, giving us the opportunity to renegotiate the price. We were told of another interest in a phone call we made to your office (as we promised), updating you with our situation. It was then that we said we would reconsider price if their interest continued to an offer.
We are sorry that you were disappointed with our service. However, our Tenterden office informed you of other interest in the property on the 21st August 2024 but heard nothing from you in reply. If you had found a buyer for your own home and let us know, we would have happily informed the seller accordingly. In the event, the seller was able to secure a buyer in an immediate position to proceed and chose to accept their offer.

Excellent marketing that stands out from the crowd. Conversations with agents were realistic, honest and supportive. Every effort made to sell my house during a difficult market. However, it was when problems emerged with my sale that the team were outstanding. They were dogged in their persistence, going over and above to help resolve issues and communicate even out of hours. At times they were the only ones in my corner during a stressful experience and I will always be grateful for their amazing support and kindness. Highly recommended
