Our house was older so not the easiest to manage but they did it very well. We found in a stressful situation Charlotte and Sarah were brilliant. We would recommend to others and would use again. Never attended a single viewing in the six months the property was on the market. Never followed up to see how viewings went and never offered any feedback. Most appointments never arrived. A real lack of customer care. Property was on the market with two Estate Agents and the marked difference between the two was evident throughout.

I'm not a "serial house hopper" so buying my first home in nearly 20 years meant I was totally out of practice and also up against the time constraints of the stamp duty holiday period ending at the end of June. Deciding to take the plunge after a difficult 2020 and get out of rented accommodation, seeing the house I have ended up purchasing from Newton Fallowell in Ashby "seemed" like a good idea. I am amazed how archaic the whole buying process still is after 20 years and the team helped me through the entire process as my situation was far from straight forward. The team chased everything they could for me as my deadline was 30th June to exchange and complete. I must have driven them mad trying to get everything in the right place and the right time. Every hurdle that was thrown at me was negotiated and executed brilliantly - to the point that my target date was achieved with two days to spare! I can't thank the Ashby office of Newton Fallowell enough for everything they did for me during the buying process as it has enable me to have a fresh start and rebuild a future that was not looking fantastic. They have quite literally helped me change my life for the better and secure a future for me and my children - which is was my sole aim!!

We thought that Newton Fallowell at Ashby really tried hard to sell our house and then in turn put a lot of effort into keeping us informed of how things were going. We think particularly that having a sales progress chaser like Sarah is a definite plus as things can get very protracted and knowing that someone has their finger on the pulse to push things along is very useful. The team were brilliant and definitely did everything they said they would throughout the sale. We were selling a family home after 40 years and all of the team were mindful, respectful and considerate about that at all times. We had some bumps in the road but still sold within the original time quoted and for a little more than we have been advised. I can't recommend them enough cool, calm and professional at all times. We bought our first house via Newton fallowell back when it was duncombe an Baker and it was Sarah who sold us that property so when it came to selling our property 20yrs later we had no problem in approaching fallowells they came round valued it and put it on the market immediately we were soon inundated with viewings eventually we sold in August this year and that’s were the problems started with our solicitors but for Sarah I think we’d of just pulled out of the sale her calm and relaxing manner put us at ease she was very reassuring and kept us positive if Sarah ever decides to leave the sales team I think she should go into conveyancing she seems to no more than the legal bods she kept us informed all through our sale and upto date with our purchase We can’t thank her enough for her professionalism throughout our sale if your looking for a sale agents look no further than Newton fallowell from start to finish they were brilliant Ps THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN TO SARAH 👍👍👍👍👍 and also to the rest of the fallowell team

The sale took 10 months. The house went on sale (three times), and each time, we received an offer within a couple of weeks. After each offer, NF seemed to go into reactive mode rather being proactive. It seemed that we had to phone before NF would check on any progress. On the third occasion, when we had started to get a second agent involved, an offer appeared within a week, we started to get regular feedback, and the sale was complete within 7 weeks.
