GoogleOutstanding service from start to finish from Deb, Nicola and the rest of the team can't fault the process at all! My girlfriend and I have just bought our first home in Stotfold and I can't recommend First Step highly enough! There is a real family feel to them and you don't just feel like you are another sale for them, Nicola was brilliant when showing us around our property and was so thorough and helpful when it came to any knowledge about the property and area, miles ahead of any other estate agents we had showing us around elsewhere! Once we had the house accepted, Deb was always available via phone and nothing was too much trouble for her. The perfect place to go with if you are a first time buyer or anywhere else along the chain! Thank you First Step!

GoogleI didn't realize the importance of choosing the right sales agent until we bought our house through First Step. First, our house viewing experience was fantastic. Jane was incredible, she was knowledgeable, responsive, and made the viewing both informative and enjoyable. Then, we began regular contact with Jules, who demonstrated remarkable patience. She provided detailed explanations and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Jules went above and beyond to assist us. Nicola was also extremely kind, understanding, and helpful. Both were always available and quick to respond, which we greatly appreciated. We believe we wouldn't have successfully navigated the process without their assistance. We highly recommend buying through First Step. Truly amazing team!

GoogleFirst Step dealt well with our sale, despite a very slow market and hurdles along the way. Jules took on our sale once an offer was accepted and was exceptional with her communication and efforts to try to ensure the sale went through as smoothly as possible. She did a huge amount of work to help with the house we were trying to purchase, keeping in contact and chasing the other estate agent for information. Thanks to Jules for all her relentless efforts throughout the process!

GoogleWe hired First Step to sell our property after meeting Sandie at a visit to a property we wanted to buy. Sandie was extremely helpful and professional and so we felt that having her showing potential buyers around our house would be perfect! The First Step team moved quickly to get our property on the market and within a few days we had sold. We then worked with Jemma who again was helpful, professional and very kind throughout the rest of the process. During our sale COVID came and we lost our buyers and so we became very stressed and nervous that we wouldn't sell again. Having Jemma by our side throughout the next few months during a very difficult time due to increased wait times for solicitors and lenders was reassuring as she was proactive, responsive and always there for us and our buyers with anything either of us needed. First Step are a well organised estate agent who clearly pride themselves on giving all their customers the best service but most of all the support they give throughout the process is wonderful. We will definitely be using them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleGreat service.... friendly and professional. From our first meeting through to completion which in our case was not the easiest as we lost a couple of buyers along the way. Nick was always there to pick up the pieces and reassure us when needed. All the team were there for support along the way and with their experience and perseverance managed to secure us our forever home which we were are so grateful for. Nick you really were a star! From the initial contact of booking a viewing to the day where we picked up the keys, we have had such a professional and personal service. After a previous offer fell through with a different estate agent we saw our house with First Step. After we called up, a viewing was booked and carried out with Sandie who made sure we knew exactly where we were going and arrived precisely on time for the appointment. Sandie was very polite and friendly during the viewing and whilst she showed us all the great features of the house, she was not pushy, allowed us to take our time in looking round and had a great knowledge of what the house had to offer (ie gas central heating, year of construction, cavity wall insulation etc). Sandie helped us to make an offer which was subsequently accepted. The area this estate agents exceeded all expectations is with the sales progression. Jemma was dealing with our transaction and we really felt that she had a personal touch in helping us get to completion. We had many hurdles with the mortgage application and whenever we found out any issues, Jemma almost always already knew as she kept excellent communication with the vendors, solicitors, mortgage broker and mortgage provider. We genuinely feel that had we seen this property with another estate agent that we wouldn't be living in it today. The entire team are 100% committed to their clients and provide a service which is second to none and we are truly thankful to them all. If you want to sell a house and have 100% confidence in the estate agent team which provide a professional, friendly, personal and transparent service look no further!

GoogleI recently moved house and had Gaye from First Step to help me along the way and make the process as smooth as possible, and I honestly could not be more appreciative 🥹 Gaye was really lovely and personable, along with her team and everything was done quickly and efficiently, I normally get rather anxious in these situations but I was treated in such a way that I didn’t even feel anxious at all. GoogleI have recently had the pleasure of dealing with Gaye from First Step and would highly recommend. Coming from the Channel Islands, it was a difficult move for my family and I but Gaye managed to make leasing a property easy by going above and beyond to keep us informed at each stage of the process. She was very knowledgable and even went out of her way to try to assist in finding a second property in the area for a relative. Gaye was absolutely brilliant during the process and was professional and friendly throughout. Would highly recommend!!
