FacebookI bought a property from David Bailes 5 years ago, i used them again when i sold the exact same propery to upgrade my home. Speaking from both sides of the fence i would happily reccomend them to anyone wishing to sell their property. they are super efficient, fair priced in terms of fees and have a fantastic team. Richard and Katie dealt with my sale, they worked with me, to my requirements and i had a sale within a matter of weeks. I know the couple who purchased my house used David Bailes panel of solicitors and they were also fantastic, on the ball and very timely. You will not be disappointed if you stop off to see these property professionals to take care of your needs.

GoogleAs first time renters the estate agents were unwilling to explain the process correctly and quite clearly told me to go find another agency. Very unprofessional and very rude over the phone. Only saving grace is Heather who provided some tips after an unsuccessful application.

GoogleI would highly recommend David Bailes Estate agent for sales in the local area. We used them to sell our house in Stanley. We carefully chose our agent on the basis of review of their display window compared to local competitors, comparison of the quality of adverts online, reviews from previous clients as well as the discussion with Richard Bailes (David Bailes Partner) on evaluation of our house. We had invited 3 local agents to evaluate our house. David Bailes offered a valuation which was £20k higher than the other agents and their fees were lower. The high valuation concerned us, but thankfully we decided to give David Bailes a try. The advert for our house was very detailed, to the level of accurate measurements of the size and location of all of the windows for the floor layout and picking out the more desirable features of the house in both description and photos. along with a video walkthrough. The quality of the advert exceeded my high expectations. The agent conducted all viewings and diligently observed COVID precautions on all occasions we met. We received a number of offers and the house was soon sold subject to contract above the asking price. At the stage of agreeing the sale the details of each link in the chain were described to us in detail to ensure that we were happy to proceed. Coral Bolam (David Bailes Sales Negotiator) kept us informed at all stages in the process. Unfortunately a problem later occurred further along the chain of our buyer and resolution of this did not seem to be progressing, Coral and her colleagues alerted us to this, investigated this fully and gave us the information necessary to allow us to make a difficult decision to agree to sell to an alternative buyer (who had previously made an offer also above the asking price). The sale was completed soon after. In the process of the buyer’s due diligence to reach exchange of contracts and completion, the level of communication from the agent to keep things moving also far exceeded our expectations and was key to achieving this in a timely fashion. This is an important consideration as communication often stalls with so many parties (buyer, seller and both solicitors, plus others in the chain). All David Bailes staff we spoke to in the process seemed courteous, highly knowledgeable and professional.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
