We just exchanged on a house in Amersham (marketed by Hunters) and were part of a long chain. Niral was brilliant throughout the process and orchestrated the whole process efficiently. He and his team are very responsive and personable. Both Niral and Nikki seemed very thorough and possessed excellent knowledge about of the property and the situation of everyone involved in the chain. Their virtual tour feature is excellent and sets them apart from other estate agents. My wife and I have used the virtual tour extensively. Really grateful to Niral and Nikki for all their help for our property purchase in Amersham. They are very professional and always responsive whenever you need. My purchase took a long time being probate and the team was always responsive to my queries and kept me informed. I have bought properties through other estate agents in the past, all were not this responsive in my experience. I feel any house purchase or sell is a stressful process and hunters have certainly kept me at peace in this journey. Many thanks ! Niral has a lot of knowledge in the area and related to property in general. He always used to call me when I chase him for an update to assure me all is well. We were very pleased to have bought a property through this estate agent. The virtual view of the property is a brilliant tool in terms of viewing properties before coming for the viewing. Viewed a rental property. I wanted to proceed but then told they wanted to collect more interest and no communication whatsoever. Absolute shocking service and wouldn't recommend at all. Thankfully I got no further with my application, well I guess I don't know cause they never come back to me. What a joke!!

lettings fees are very high

For lettings their fees are very expensive. First 3 months of my 450 rent studio flat they took and I did not get anything. When tenant leaves another month will be gone as inventory check is 180 and cleaning in 250 and this is for a studio flat. If i want to cancel the contract i have to pay 900. Stay away.

I have only great things to say about Hunters Middleton branch! From the very first phone call right up to exchanging contacts They have been beyond brilliant. I absolutely loved the pictures of my house and the write up most definitely did my house justice. Disappointed is an understatement..

To say we’re disappointed with the level of communication from the Horncastle Branch with Michael and Susan Noonan is an understatement and the level of service is a far cry from Michael's commitment to customer experience.Researching this branch shows multi-occasions that this activity has happened here.If you’re viewing a property with the intent to buy, don’t expect them to tell you if any other parties are interested. They’ll just pull it from under your feet along with any visions or excitement of a future you had in said house.Viewed a property two weeks ago, following the viewing we had a really positive conversation with Susan in the office expressing great interest, no more than a week later sold to another buyer with no communication. It would have been professional and courteous to reach out to the buyer but more so to the seller, as I’m certain they would like to have known of other interest. Susan and Michael took away any opportunity or chance to put in any offers, resulting in many wasted hours.I wouldn’t usually leave a review; but the tone in which Susan delivered the news was blunt, lacked any sort of empathy and very closed, to date I am still waiting for a reply to my email which I can only assume has been ignored.We will steer clear of this company for future sales and purchases, knowing that their priority doesn’t appear to be with either buyer or seller.Happy to receive a call or email to discuss our experience with you.

Hunters are not interested

Hunters let the house adjacent to ours. There have been multiple pipe leaks around the bathroom causing flooding which in turn is causing damp smells on our side due to the length of time taken to address the issues. It's been repaired after four weeks now within hours water is currently coming through the ceiling next door soaking our party wall and they have told the tennant it's livable no problem.

*****Highly Recommend Amersham Hunters Estate agency.***** I was planning to buy my second house and was under the impression the process would be straightforward as I have knowledge of buying a house(from my first house). However, I realised the market, process and demand has changed. Hunters Estate agency was the first one I met when my search began in Amersham. All team members gave us the right advice on time. The amount of effort, time, and expert level knowledge they have provided me through the process is unbelievable. Obviously, making an informed decision is the most important part of buying a home. But personally, as being “emotionally” invested as well in buying a home, having someone who properly set, manage, and came through with expectations was such a lifesaver and made me feel so at ease throughout the entire process. I truly appreciated Hunter Estates agency input and relied on it heavily. This is an invaluable quality to have as a service provider and not everyone has it. Awful. Incredibly disorganised. Would establish inspections and never turn up, would constantly email about overdue rent that wasn't overdue. Would pass the blame constantly. Attempted to raise my rent by a "reasonable" £200 a month six months into my tenancy which can only happen every 12 months and cannot be more than the CPI price index; they failed on both counts. Renting is honestly awful, and these clowns pray upon the anxiety of insecurity to get what they want.I have bought a house now, I wish all renters the luck to buy their own homes one day so we never have to deal with letting agents like these ever again.

I would completely recommend avoiding…

I would completely recommend avoiding this agency, they are slow to respond, have no information ready at hand and this has possibly been the most annoying process of purchasing a property with them. There was a lot of missing information that I was not provided and they basically only know how to respond when they need something. You will call them and they say they'll get back to you and just disappear. Avoid if possible.
