We signed up at Hellards over a year ago. We have had a difficult year as we lost two buyers close to exchange and we finally sold after accepting a third offer. There was quite a difficult chain when we eventually sold and the whole process became quite demanding upon us. Hellards were with us all the way and never gave up trying to help us even at the most difficult moments. Liane and Viv both went above and beyond to help us cross the finishing line and we are very grateful. Everyone else at the office helped us when needed and Gordon showed enormous patience and calmness. I would most certainly recommend Hellards if you are buying or selling in the area.

After losing my Dad last year I asked Hellards to help me sell my dads flat. I’d moved away from the area a long time before and needed more help than most due to location difficulties. Viv has been amazing - we had a couple false starts but Viv has always remained constant with regular contact and updates. This is the worst estate agent I have ever come across. They do not care for human welfare, only money. There was mould through the property, me and my partner and I were renting. They did nothing to solve the issue. The day we moved into the property, it was filthy it needed a professional clean. Now we have moved out of the property, and they haven't given our deposit back. It has been over the two weeks, still nothing. Please avoid this estate agents They lie and will not respond to any emails. They have zero regard for human life. Ian, the owner or manager, admitted that to resolve the mould issue is far too expensive.

The team at Hellards were fantastic throughout the process of selling a property. I am typing this as I feel it may help someone else in the same position as me, I was selling my late fathers property which initially was in probate and that in itself can be a quagmire to navigate. Towards the end of the sale we had some personal circumstances that came into play and Hellards were extremely understanding, respectful & sensitive while maintaining professionalism throughout. 2023: Hellards were great when I bought my home in 2019 so they were they obvious people to go to when I decided to downsize and sell my house. It was a tough market but thanks to the efforts of Viv and the whole sales team we were successful in finding a buyer. The exchange of contracts and completion turned out to be more complicated than we had expected but Liane put a huge amount of work into it for at least 2 weeks and finally managed to resolve all the issues. A big thank you to Liane, Viv, Gordon and everyone involved. You did a fabulous job. 2019: Hellards were the agents when I bought my home in Alresford. The whole team was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
