GoogleThe worst estate agent to deal with. Lies to your face, neglects problems, Takes your deposit, doesn't clean the house before you move in. We were paying £2600 a month in rent and the majority of the time we had no heating. Michael owns the estate agents and shows a consistent bias to his friend who is also the landlord. 0 professionalism, wouldn't ever deal with them again. At the end of it, has the cheek to say it wasn't cleaned when we left. You tell me how you would feel if you moved into a house and this was the condition.......

Dear Adam,
Unfortunately this is not the place to air your grievances which, by the way, are completely baseless. We have never lied to you and we have always conducted ourselves professionally despite the issues we had with you as a tenant during your occupancy. I have written to you with our end of tenancy report detailing dilapidations, missing furniture and rent arrears, and on both occasions you were asked to come forward with your proposal to settle the matter, but you thought it more appropriate to write this review. I am sure most sensible people will see this review for what it is.

GoogleWe've both bought and sold through Walker Smale in the past few years, and in both transactions it was a really positive experience. Simon helped us through the whole process, gave clear and very well-informed advice from his apparently-encyclopedic understanding of the local area and market, recommended and organised very capable local tradespeople where we needed a few bits and pieces (e.g. cleaning) done, professionally negotiated a fair deal on the price (both in buying and in selling), and then worked very effectively with the respective legal teams to get everything completed.
Very highly recommended - and many thanks!

View AgentsSuperb estate agent
Michael was a fantastic estate agent and took care of everything from getting a leak fixed, to signing off the work of a decorator, to carrying out the weekly insurance check. He took care of my empty property for me until I was ready to put it on the market, and then sold it for my asking price within a week! He was a friendly and effective communicator throughout the whole process and I would thoroughly recommend this estate agent.

We dealt mainly with Michael Smale but all the people we dealt with were superb!
All queries answered quickly and we were impressed with the knowledge and quick response when we needed anything. Michael in particular was fabulous from the initial visit through to marketing our house and then negotiating a sale price that was better than we could have hoped for. Michael’s prompt advice at all times was spot on and I could not recommend Michael and his team more highly!

View AgentsFantastic Speedy Service
We asked Walker Smale to sell our property in two weeks! We had an offer accepted on a property providing we were under offer ourselves within two weeks. Walker Smale exceeded my expectations, within 24 hours of instructing them we had a sign up, provisional listings on Rightmove and Walker Smale's website and the photos booked. Michael was fantastic, he had a huge list of potential buyers that were interested in our property. The speed that Walker Smale managed to get our property listed was amazing (I hadn't even had time to tell my family and friends we were moving). Michael provided daily updates of the progress and advice on our onward purchase - I couldn't fault them. I would highly recommend Walker Smale for their personal and speedy service.

Mr Walker was very professional and extremely helpful when he valued our house, then listed it on the market and sold it within a couple of days, at a price we were pleased with. He then regularly kept us informed of progress and took the lead in ensuring exchange of contracts took place after a delay. Without Mr Walker’s involvement I am sure exchange would have been delayed and we would have had to agree a later completion date.
