GoogleThey managed the property we rented and were generally unresponsive. When we moved out, they initially attempted to deduct money from our deposit to replace the oven because some of the numbers on a dial had worn off. After we challenged this, they proposed several other deductions that we did not feel were justified. We successfully appealed and recovered our deposit, but the process was long and unnecessarily stressful.

GoogleI've never used them personally, but I can see that they do "bait-and-switch". In their window they are advertising a lovely home for sale on Altenburg Avenue that I know they already sold back in July. They briefly marked it "sold", but then instead of removing the picture they just removed the "sold" label. So they're using it as a "bait and switch" to get you in the door. I don't know whether that is true for other properties as well.
Update: after I posted this review, they removed the false listing from their window for a few days, but now it's back.

GoogleClaimed to have numerous offers on a property to force me to pay over asking, I agreed subject to simply having some contact with upstairs flats I’d be sharing the freehold with, they delayed, pressured me, set deadlines yet ignored all my emails and requests, lied about contact, said I couldnt speak to the other freeholders, then claimed I could but wouldn’t arrange it, claimed to have messages confirming things from other freeholders but refused to share with me then claimed seller had changed her mind and was no longer selling. Next thing I see it’s sold STC on the website so they had been stringing me along and lying the whole time like I suspected. So so glad they didn’t get any money out of me, they are the exact reason estate agents have a bad reputation. I had a bad feeling about them from day one, I’d heard their reputation and they lived up to it.

I am very sorry to hear of your disappointment Suzanne however, I did want to respond to some of the accusations you have made in your recent review;
Firstly, I have inspected the file and contrary to your insinuations, I can confirm that there were indeed other offers made for this property.
The sellers also confirmed that their co-freeholders were happy to meet with you and this was communicated to you by my colleagues on at least 2 occasions.
However, whilst the sellers were initially happy to proceed with your offer, due to time constraints being imposed upon them, it was very much subject to your preceding in a timely manner. Unfortunately, your reluctance to provide us with even basic information (details of your agents, solicitors, broker etc), as well as legally required documents (proof of ID etc), that specifically led to the sellers decision to proceed with another interested party.
I am sorry that you are unhappy with their decision, but from what I can see on file, you were given ample opportunity to meet their deadline. Tony Bean MD
