Can’t recommend the staff at Hartland …

Can’t recommend the staff at Hartland village enough. Their customer service is Second to none, particularly compared to some other local new build developers. Sadly, we had to pull out of our sale due to personal reasons but Frances and Janey both went above and beyond to help us and we are forever grateful. Fantastic service throughout the whole process even though we did cause them some issues, they did what they could to help so thanks again.

Be Cautios when buying from Berkeley Group

Avoid “With Energy” and Be Cautious When Buying from Berkeley GroupI would strongly advise anyone to be extremely careful when considering a property purchase from Berkeley Group. What they fail to tell you is that you are locked into using a single energy provider: With Energy. This isn’t just inconvenient, it’s outright monopolization. You don’t have the freedom to choose a provider that offers competitive rates or better service. You’re stuck, plain and simple.To make matters worse, With Energy charges an absurd £2 per day as a standing charge. That’s over £700 a year before you even use a single unit of energy. It’s completely unjustifiable and feels like daylight robbery. How is this even allowed? This ridiculous fee leaves you paying far more than necessary for basic utilities.Berkeley Group has essentially handed its customers over to an exploitative energy company, ensuring you’re forced into paying extortionate fees with no way out. It feels unethical and deceitful, especially since this critical information isn’t disclosed upfront during the buying process.If you’re considering buying a property from Berkeley Group, I urge you to dig deeper into this hidden trap before committing. The combination of poor transparency and exploitation through With Energy is enough to sour what should be an exciting investment in your future. Buyer beware!

It's a great development but they are not so great or straightforward in returning the security deposit. My one star is based on my experience with their lack of professionalism when it came to returning my security deposit. I am still waiting as it drags on. It's cost me time, effort and money as I await annoyingly.

Sales good, rubbish aftersales

Everything done by the sales team was good, but it was only good up until that point, once they have your money they don't really care anymore. Customer service response time is slower than the NHS. Though let's be honest, if you can afford one of these homes you should be able to afford to fix any problems that come with the home afterwards, right? Right??

AVOID AVOID AVOID. I bought two properties in the UK from Berkeley, on in OneBlackfriars and another in Chelsea Creek. And my experience is just the same as the others, once they take the money, anything that goes wrong will be a nightmare to fix, even if the property is within warranty. The heating system of my new home is not working and winter is quickly approaching. It's been a month since I initially reported and no solution has been provided. It seems ironic to live in a brand new million-pound flat and freeze in the cold English winter.Please DO NOT trust what they say about their clients would recommend them to a family and friend, this company ties this question in the survey for homeowners to the performance of the customer service team to guilt their customers into providing high scores for the company.

I recently purchased a new apartment at Eden Grove by the Berkeley Group, and I couldn't be happier with the customer service I received. The team was incredibly supportive, professional, and time-bound in all their dealings with me. From the initial inquiry to the final paperwork, they ensured everything went smoothly and efficiently.The apartment itself is fantastic, it features modern amenities, a spacious layout, and high-quality finishes. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, and the living area is bright and airy, thanks to large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The bedrooms are comfortable and well-designed, providing a perfect retreat after a long day. Additionally, the building offers great facilities such as a gym, a communal garden, secure parking, and the convenience of a 24x7 concierge service.After moving in, I encountered minor issues with a dimmable electrical light switch and a leak with the shower screen. However, these were quickly and efficiently fixed within 24 hours by the Berkeley team, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction.Their dedication to providing excellent service made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. Delivery beyond expectations.

The professionalism and curtesy placing us as the customer first. Berkeley has surpassed its initial targets in delivering a development that Southall can be proud of. After the pains of removing the gas works and parking lots, Berkeley has created a wonderful community friendly environment. It has set a new standard for future development for the rest of Southall to follow. It’s a pleasure to take visitors as the destination that we can be proud of. Everyone associated with Berkeley and the development go the extra mile with a smile. 😊 For me Berkeley have genuinely excelled in every aspect. As a former Southallian, I would recommend to any investor or someone looking to return to Southall , that now there is such a desirable place at The Green Quarter.Looking forward to the next phases of development with eager anticipation.

As the owner of one of the apartments, I notified the reception via email about the agency I appointed last September upon receiving the property. When my tenant breached the lease with a short-term sublet, we informed the reception to deactivate the flat fob. However, for half a year, the front desk has been prevaricating and failing to act. This level of service is utterly infuriating, and my emails have been met with complete silence.

High quality residences.

High quality construction; different size blocks are very attractive; site beautifully laid out (trees, gardens, lawns, open spaces, main entrance); provision of all kitchen appliances most welcome; basement parking served by lifts is excellent. Visitor parking, unfortunately, is substandard (lacks flexibility, sensitivity, realism).

Not enough communication with the owners

Signing a contract with high tariff of EV charging without a suitable explanation for Huntley Wharf makes the owners feel frustrated. The original charging fee was 18p and suddenly jumped up to 54p per kWh. No explanation. Maybe more communication needed and so the owners and the tenants know about who's responsible for different aspects in Huntley Wharf.

Once they have your money they don’t care. Forget about snagging they will cut corners and just keep delaying work (only have 1 handyman who covers the whole area). Been nearly 3 years and they are still delaying things being rectified. Disgusting.

A ZERO star for Berkeley!

A ZERO star would be appropriate for Berkeley Group. Living in Cassini tower is a NIGHTMARE so far. We’re living the worst experience of our lives! Poor finishing, lousy management, poorly installed appliances and the worst communication skills we’ve ever seen. We’ve been without running hot water for days with no explanation or justification of any sort. I would never deal with Berkeley again and certainly not recommend them to anyone.
