The quality is below my expectations. Bad laminated floor installation. Not soundproof windows. Also, the completion date was delayed. No proper ventilation system installed even though much cheaper developments have. It’s overpriced.

Our overall experience was absolutely amazing from sales through completion to settling in. There was great communication every step of the way and the transition was quite seamless. Both the sales and aftercare teams were cordial, helpful and very responsive. They put a special touch every step of the way and they were always happy to help. I was most impressed by their personalized welcome cards, the very thoughtful gift left for us in the apartment and the support provided to help us settle in without any hitches. I would definitely recommend their services to everyone looking to buy a home.

Just purchased an apartment with Berkeley and overall very happy with the quality of the build, with relatively few bits of snagging required post completion. The run up to completion could have been a little better though, having raised an issue with the bathroom light not turning off properly, about 6 weeks prior to completion - however, only after completion did it get fixed. The air filter in the apartment also hadn’t been cleaned before my moving in, which for an apartment whose bedroom does not have an opening window to let fresh air in, was suffocating to say the least. Again, remedied rather quickly post completion but would have expected this to be cleaned beforehand, especially coming from such a prestigious name such as Berkeley! Overall I am happy with how Berkeley has handled the process pre and it post completion, and would highly recommend over other developers.

Houses were built to poor standard, I have experienced no end of problems since moving in. When I raised this, Customer care manager was incredibly rude. Such a shame as their houses are not cheap. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I wish I could go back and avoid this dreadful company!!

Concierge like to go round taking pictures of peoples balconies just for having a couple bits of washing on their, even though we are in an energy and environmental crisis. Service charge is a rip off as well. Its not great. Don’t bother. Freehold> leasehold all the way.

Positives:I think their sales and marketing team is excellent. Quality is generally reasonable tooNegatives:Unfortunately my experience with their customer care is hit-and-miss. I had one good experience where they answered my question quickly but another when I was asking about striker plate for my door which they completely ignored me. This is quite unfortunate given any goodwill built disappears the moment issues happens

Sales team & After sales team have been amazing . Lots of snagging issues that are getting resolved slowly . This is not down to sales team. Some areas of our Apartment looked rushed and not completed properly . Felt Berkeley were very dismissive with some things that we asked to have and we agreed to pay for . We love our new home but feel that some of the above issues have taken the shine off of it .
