GoogleNot very proactive. Very slow to respond. No chance of speaking to anyone after 1pm. Most conveyancers chase business rather than neglecting it.
I'm sorry Kevin but this is the Estate Agency review page not the solicitors. I will make the solicitors aware of your complaint.

GoogleKate and Julie in the Estate Agents were absolutely brilliant in the way they sold our house. Communication was first class and nothing was too much trouble for them.Teamed up with the efficient Vicky in the legal Department it all added to a great business practice..I would fully recommend them to anyone thinking of moving home.

GoogleWhen I had to put my dad's house on the market we were advised to get four valuations. Two of these ended up as hour- long PowerPoint presentations but Kate from Sleigh & Son impressed with her thorough but concise 20 minutes. We went with them and the team has been informative and supportive throughout. Not everything went smoothly - our first potential buyer wanted to take the floorboards up for a damp inspection and wanted a waiver for any damage caused. Kate wasn’t having this but gave us the choice. We chose not to. But this process took many months and the buyer pulled at the last minute. Kate had the house on the market again that afternoon and was arranging viewings for the following week. We always felt we could trust her and the team. The house was unoccupied for many months as the market cooled off and they took care of it, informing us of problems such as a minor water leak and getting it fixed. When it came time to finally sell, Kate was able to arrange a person to do the house clearance. Indeed, the team's local contacts proved helpful on several occasions. They've been very quick to respond to emails and phonecalls and they've made a difficult process as easy as possible. Very professional and reliable!
What a lovely review. Thank you so much, Phill. Our team will be chuffed to bits knowing that their hard work is appreciated. We hope to be of service to you again in the future. Simon Sleigh

GoogleI recently purchased my first home via Sleigh & Son and had such a positive experience. Despite the purchase being a lengthy one, Kate made the process as stress free as possible. The communication was brilliant, professional but friendly. Kate was so responsive to queries, even daft ones! I wouldn’t hesitate to use Sleigh & Son again in future.

GoogleRing up to put a offer in on a property to get told they have just received a offer so I can't put a offer in on the property when the offer wernt except so should of been able to put my offer forward. Just proves they Don't do the service professional as any offer has to be put to the vendor!!!!!
Good afternoon. Yes unfortunately the property you are interested does have an offer and a sale agreed at this time. We did state that if you had viewed the property you would be able to put in an offer but as you hadn't got that far we were unable to take any further offers at the sellers request.

GoogleI would like to share our 5* review for Kate at with & Son Estate Agents. Kate recently sold our family home and was so helpful and considerate, keeping us updated, always very efficient and achieved the full asking price, over what we had originally expected. I would highly recommend Kate and for a smooth process, I would recommend using Sleigh's Conveyancing team and solicitors

GoogleWe have experienced being both buyers and sellers with Kate and Julie at Sleigh and have been delighted with their support through both transactions. We would encourage anyone to use their agency. They are both very efficient and helpful - Julie went the extra mile to have a key cut for us without us asking which made a time short situation so much easier and we really appreciate that, a small thing but so helpful. Kate was great with keeping us up to date on the process during an incredibly busy and volatile time in the housing market. We can't recommend them highly enough. We live over 5hrs drive from the property we owned in Audenshaw and the sale would have been much more difficult if it were not for thier professional no nonsense approach. Thank you!!
Thank you trusting us a second time with your house sale. Glad we helped make things as smooth as possible for you both.

Horrible experience with this law firm. It all started off good and well when they sent the instructions out to act on my behalf the very next day, I thought wow these guys are good as I wanted to complete quickly on the property. Unfortunately it went down hill very quickly from there. The conveyancer Zara Morgan was dealing with my case she is impossible to get hold of as she is either working from home and only respond to emails, which she never does or when she’s in the office she is just too busy to answer your call. Requesting simple information such as login in details for an app they use to verify details took over two weeks to obtain. The seller and their solicitors are also struggling to get any information from the firm. I asked for basic information such as estimated date for when searches will be completed and rough timeline of events to get told sorry “Zara will not speak to you she is busy”. Why take on work if you cannot provide the service!

GoogleFrom valuation to completion, Kate has been amazing, she kept me well informed of everything going on, she was very responsive and always got back to me in a reasonable time and when there were a few problems both her and Julie tried their best to help, they went above and beyond and really made the whole thing less stressful. I’d definitely recommend this estate agents to anyone.

GoogleDespite trying to purchase a property since February and during lockdown, Kate and her team at Sleigh & Son were very professional and excellent throughout the process. As first time buyers we were clueless going in but Kate dealt with all our questions and concerns with care and attention. Would definitely recommend.
You both got there in the end! Bit of a long one wasn't it but so happy you are both in now. Take care
