GoogleVery happy with our experience of Signature Estates. Friendly as well as professional and helpful throughout. They also helped us get £15k more on the sale of our house compared with another agent that had it on their books too so was very pleased with that!

GoogleI was new to buy to let and had seen a lot of properties and estate agents. I found Signature estates to be a great company and I enjoyed working with Lee Goddard. He was knowledgeable, thorough and went out of his way to ensure a smooth process of buying my first buy to let flat. He answered all my questions and liaised with the developer and the solicitor and ensured the process was seamless as possible. I was so please with the service provided by Lee and his team, that I also used signature estate as the agent to rent out my property and find a rentee. He conducted many viewings before the sale of my flat went through so that we would find a rentee by the time we completed, which he did. This worked out really well as it meant I did not lose any rental income. I will be using Signature estates and Lee Goddard for any future property investments. I would highly recommend Signature estates

GoogleI have been dealing with Signature Estates in Watford for 4 years now. As a landlord I bought a buy to let property that Signature Estates were marketing and have subsequently let it out via Signature Estates with various new tenants. During this time I have dealt with Ciara from the Lettings team. She is a warm, friendly and extremely efficient member of the team who goes out of her way to provide a great service. As a busy landlord she is invaluable to me and the reason why Signature Estates continue to receive my business four years on. Please don't ever leave Ciara!

GoogleDisappointing service from them with agents seeming Ill informed of the local market and lacked general knowledge of house construction methods. They seem to undervalue properties in order to secure quick easy sales. There are definitely better options in the local area and I won’t be using them again.
Dear Adam, Thank you for your review. It is disappointing that you feel this way as your property was on the market with three other agents prior to it being on with us, at a higher price, all of whom failed to secure you a buyer. Your property was on the market from April 2018 to October 2018 at prices from £315,000 to £300,000. In February 2019 we advised you to market the property at £275,000 and after conducting 30 viewings, we secured you a buyer at £270,000. You did not have to instruct us to market the property at this price and neither did you have to accept the offer. At no point did you express your dis-satisfaction about the price. We gave you the correct advice and sourced you a buyer who completed in good time. We are sorry you feel the way you do.

I recently experienced some major problems with my tenants and my personal contact, Kitty contacted me to update and reassure me regularly. Her professionalism and patience during this extremely traumatic time for me, was outstanding

GoogleI recently used Signature Estates when purchasing a house and was very impressed. The team there is helpful and very friendly. The main person I dealt with was Lee Goddard who was very responsive and went the extra mile to help often going out of his way to accommodate us. Thanks for the hard work!

GoogleAlan and his team are brilliant. We recently sold our flat with them, after having previously listed it with a more ‘corporate’ local agency. I am SO happy we switched, I really felt I could trust Alan. He treated me with respect and talked honestly with me throughout every stage of the sale (which he got us after a couple of weeks, compared with several months with the other agency). These things might sound obvious, but are really not the norm in my experience. I recommend anyone who wants to sell their house with minimal stress and nonsense to choose signature estates.

GoogleAvoid at all costs. Did not show up on multiple visits and after having cancelled my reservation due to them not being forthcoming with details on the specifications and misrepresenting the builder's size and tenure. It's been 6 months and they haven't returned the "refundable" reservation fee of 500£ despite our legal contract.

We are a little confused by your rating because you lived in a property that we were introducing tenants to the landlord only but when you left the property about 1 year ago you seemed happy. We are disappointed that after 1 year you felt the need to just leave a 1 star review without raising your issue with us directly. GoogleWorst experience in my entire life . The agent who dealt with us told us we will be living in a studio flat with 'a lovely polish couple upstairs ' , in fact the 'lovely polish couple' were 8-9 noisy people living upstairs and none of them polish .To ad the fact that one night they start fighting with each other and I had to call the police and discovered that police was after one of them for long time . The flat at the begging wasn't great but we thought we will make it better but in time we discovered water infiltration ,dump and a collapsing ceiling . Every time when it was raining the water stains on the wall was showing up and they were moving all over the wall ,from the bedroom to the kitchen and next to two electric sockets . After we have reported this issues to Signature agent we got a reply stating that the landlord is responsible for all maintenance work . We got in touch with a guy called Vincent Hall and someone turned up saying he is in behalf of the landlord ,later on proved that the small Indian guy is the landlord .We showed to the so called 'in behalf of the landlord ' all the mold we were getting and all the walls getting wet every time was raining but he kept saying that they have fixed the problem ,they never did . We had to inhale a very steamy air and the bed sheets seemed all the time wet .We had to live in a bedroom without no ceiling light for last 3 months until the end of tenancy as the builders sent by 'in behalf of the landlord ' never had time to finish off their job ,also they pulled the gas detector away from the ceiling and left the wires to short to connect back the gas detector . I could go on and on about this and other issues we have found at this property rented by Signature Estates . Avoid or be extremely careful so you dont have to go trough my hell . Last update - the landlord has decided not to give the deposit back .What else can I say .... :)
Hi Leonard, Thank you for taking the time to add feedback to our review page. I am sorry to hear that you didn't like living in your property over the last 12 months. I think you may be getting our company confused with the Landlord's company. As you have stated, the landlord is responsible for the maintenance of the property & managing the whole building. We were informed by the Landlord that a "lovely couple" lived upstairs so we could only go by his information there. It is illegal to have 8 or 9 people in a property of that size so we would not have rented that property out to a group of people. The behaviour of other tenants in the block which we didn't introduce to are not our responsibility. In addition, the previous tenants that lived there had no issues with damp or noise so we have had no previous reports to advise you on. As you mentioned a number of times in your review, you were dealing directly with the Landlord and the builder 'in behalf of the landlord ' so I am afraid we are not responsible for the Landlord's service level nor were we included in any correspondence between you , the landlord and his builder. We wish you lots of luck in your new property and hopeful you will have a nice quiet neighbour too.

GoogleAlan and the team are great. They managed our house letting for years and at the end assisted with a sell. All transactions were always very smooth and timely and they looked after tenant and us with a great care and attention to detail. The team is proactive and pleasant to deal with and nothing was ever a problem. Would recommend to anyone looking to rent/sell the property.
