GoogleThey run a scam where they charge you for cleaning fees when you move out as a tennent in their properties. We left the property spotless but they tried to charge us 300 pounds for 10 hours of cleaning which we argued through the deposit scheme and had it fully refunded. The adjudicator said the property was never professionally cleaned before we moved in so we shouldnt have to pay for it to be cleaned when moving out. If I had to guess they have a relationship with monicas cleaning services who kick them fake invoices for cleaning carried out, just my view i have no evidence for this.

Hi Andrew, In response to your review, I would like to clarify that we do not run a “scam” where cleaning companies produce fake invoices, we never have and we never will. Further, we were instructed by our landlord to make deductions for cleaning, this was their decision based on the independent check out report. The clean was carried out at a cost to the landlord of £324.00. You didn’t agree and exercised your right to dispute and the matter went to the adjudicator at DPS who found in your favour, stating that in their view the property was as clean as it was when you moved in. The remainder of the deposit was then released to you. This is exactly why these schemes are in place Andrew, so that they can deal with disputes between landlords and tenants. The adjudicator found in your favour and that’s the end of the matter. It was never anything to do with us (we are just in the middle) and we had absolutely nothing to gain from it. I am pleased that have got your deposit back and wish you all the best but please refrain from casting aspersions about something that in your own words you have absolutely no evidence of. GoogleI won’t recommend Signature at all as a tenant. We had a terrible experience with them that ended well because of our resilience otherwise they would have taken an enormous amount from the deposit that wasn’t justified despite the house wasn’t exactly in ideal conditions (full of mould). The letting manager wasn’t ever available and it took us 2 months to get our deposit back. Worst experience ever!

GoogleI have 2 appointments at the same property but at different rooms. They had no patience to wait until the appointment time and they left the property before the appointment time. Highly disappointed with their service

GoogleAbsolute waste of time. If you value your time, I’d suggest you approach other reliable real estate agencies. Horrible service, they will promise you a whole lot but will not actually deliver their promises. “Response within few hours after offer is given out”. That’s what I was told but those few hours turned to weeks with no updates whatsoever even after the properties were taken up. I’ve had to chase them for more than 2 weeks just to know that the requirements of a certain property were not met and other properties being taken up.

GoogleBack in 2016, we rented a small flat in Watford through this agency. Everything was smooth until last year when we faced kitchen issues. The assigned workers were unprofessional, even snooping in areas they shouldn't. Despite our complaints, the agency, including these individuals named Sophie, Georgia, Lisa, and Bill (who was very ignorant as well!) ignored us and showed a lack of understanding of UK law. Feeling mistreated, we voiced our concerns but were unfairly evicted. When they handed over their petty letter of UNFAIR EVICTION, I was about to laugh in their faces! I did that after that woman left. Despite giving us a deadline for February using the landlord request excuse, we moved out within a week, prioritising our savings for a house instead of taking this way further as we could have done that very easily!!! We checked! But they were very lucky there thats all Im saying! If the landlord was aware of this SHAME ON YOU TOO! Fortunately, we found a better agency and are now proud homeowners. So thanks for this! Haha!! Despite the challenges with "Signature Estates," we won't forget their attitude and discrimination!! We won't recommend them to anyone and we will make sure to share this story everywhere and with everyone! Beware of their so-called professionalism, they care little for tenants as they only treat better people who own the properties aka landlords! Karma has its way, and we believe in it! A word of caution to all: exercise caution when dealing with them and don't hesitate to voice your concerns! Their competence is questionable, and their reliance on fancy suits for an 'impression' is misleading. I'll stop here, as I might not be allowed to express my full thoughts about them! Once again SHAME ON YOU ALL AND DONT FORGET WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND FOLKS! 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 I would give 0 stars if I could!!!!

GoogleI would not recommend using Signature letting services. Our property was fully managed, however no checks or inspections carried out at all. Tenants moved out and no check out inspection. Poor communication.
