GoogleI had the pleasure of being shown a property in Hastings by Sidney. He was extremely professional, polite and knowledgeable. He had a very good understanding of the property he was showing me and was able to answer every question I asked. His communication was excellent throughout the process and I was able to agree a fee for the property very quickly thanks to his hard work.

GoogleWe sold our two-bedroom house in Ninfield through Oakfield, and we were assigned Rocky as our estate agent. Rocky was very friendly and professional. He came round to view the house and talked us through step-by-step what needed to be done. Rocky put our house on the market on Tuesday lunchtime, and by Wednesday morning, he had found us a buyer and the process started from there. Throughout every step, Rocky communicated with us to let us know what was going on with the sale, offering us reassurance and guidance. His expertise and dedication made the entire process seamless and stress-free. I would definitely recommend Oakfield, especially Rocky, to all my friends and family. They truly made a potentially stressful situation much easier to navigate.

GoogleAll staff are helpful especially to Tia West. It was stressfull looking for flat but Oakfield was very accomodating and helpful. I found our new flat through Oakfield Letting Agency in Hastings. They will ring as soon as I have send an enquiry to view the flat. The whole process was very smooth and easy. They also gave us a lovely card sending congratulations on to our new home. Thank you Tia abd to your team.

GoogleDon't believe all tha fake reviews they use to bump up their score. Oakfields are a terrible letting agent for property owners and renters. They have left our house in disrepair for months claiming "they're were waiting for the damage to dry" and then had 2 contractors show up to inspect the house without any warning. And this is not the first time we've had work men show up with no prior warning. In fact, no contact is generally the way Oakfields do business. And previously once the work had been completed, it was then never inspected and usually done poorly. They had the cheek to charge £50 for a tennacy update but the only thing I can see that I paid for was incompetence. As it took them a month to update the tennacy and then once again they didn't bother to tell me the update was completed. Avoid at all costs.

GoogleI cannot recommend Oakfield as letting agents. On their advice I let my Eastbourne flat out in August 2023. The flat had been refurbished, used by two of us as a holiday home for a short period, and was in excellent condition. However, since the tenant moved in, I have been plagued with requests for 'repairs' including a replacement toilet and shower, curtain poles which have suddenly fallen down and 'loose' door handles, which has meant that letting is not longer viable. Very disappointed.

Naturally it is with great disappointment that we receive such a negative review and I hoped that we could discuss this together. I have in the meantime taken the opportunity to review the maintenance raised by your Tenant during the tenancy and must say I feel that those matters raised have been general maintenance furthermore I feel the level of maintenance requests is not excessive given the length of the tenancy. I wholly appreciate that additional costs for Landlords can lead to frustrations but we always strive to seek competitive quotes, which I can see we have done with your maintenance, to keep costs reasonable for our Clients. GoogleOakfield assisted in the sale of our property and were efficient and professional at all stages. We dealt with Sam, Josh and Jo, all of whom were friendly and efficient. Jo is the Sales Progressor, and she was communicative at all stages throughout the process (always responded to calls & e-mails), & kept us up-to-date on our own progress and also the progress of the buyer? I would strongly recommend, & if I had another property to sell in the Eastbourne area, I would 100% use Oakfield.
