GoogleOur Family was left all through Xmas upto New year without any heating in freezing conditions for 10 days, it completely ruined it for us, No out of hours service incase of an emergency like we had, no sympathy or offer to help from Nicholsons of Scarborough, nobody bothered to answer the phone during office hours for several days of trying to call, I had to ring Filey Branch to get through, When i explained Google states the office is open i was laughed at and told to ignore them hours, they will reply to your emails in a timely manner when they are taking your money but when you have an issue they won't bother, the number of times I have phoned to speak to somebody who has just left the office is laughable. I wanted compensation for all the issues we had with a faulty boiler that never worked and being ill from being cold, when we moved in and our landlord agreed we could leave at any point instead of seeking compensation, that is what we was lead to understand, when we moved out we had 6 weeks rent due to come back to us, only Nicholsons decided that the agreement was not legally binding from the emails and went back on the agreement, we are now £1200 out of pocket and having to go through a small claims court. I would rate these 0 Star if I could, so if you want to be ignored on emails and have difficulty getting through on the telephone and an estate agent who sides with the landlord and doesn't care about tenants choose Nicholsons.

GoogleTruly wonderful people, they always greet us with a smile. There isn’t anywhere else I would go when it comes to renting or selling properties around Scarborough. I have dealt with Nicholsons on many fronts both work and personally this last few years and I cannot fault their service May I wish you all the very best for years ahead and keep doing what your doing guys it’s obviously working Kindest regards hish

GoogleWe have just completed a purchase where Nicholsons were the selling agent. Charlotte showed us around the property but has been much more than just an agent selling. We can't thank Charlotte enough for her help, she really has gone over and above her standard remit in helping, even after completion of the sale - I would highly recommend this firm and ask for Charlotte!

GoogleNicholsons have been my property manager, I've sold through them and I now rent through them. Having dealt with multiple team members they have all been thoughtful, helpful and very human (not something i've always experienced with estate agents). In particular Charlotte in sales has been phenomenal, supporting my sale during a very sensitive time. She's industry savvy, friendly and supportive. Another big positive and somewhat unusually, the owner Tim is highly engaged and involved from the bottom up. Josh in rentals helped me find a great place and again was helpful and sensitive. Hanz also stepped in to cover colleagues and was super helpful. It actually seems like a great place to work! They take all matters seriously and in my experience, deal with them to a high standard. I'd recommend Nicholsons if you are Buying, Selling, need to rent or need a property manager.

GoogleJosh was absolutely great, kept us informed with or rental property. Advised was always at the end of the phone our email. Would definitely advise anyone to ask josh for selling or renting
