I live in a block which has been 'managed' shall we say by Nicholsons for some time. Watch out as they will charge you for things like cleaning when no cleaner ever turns up! They used to use a company called East Coast Fire for all fire alarm works, who were ok until 2 to 3 years ago when they didn't seem to know what they were doing all of a sudden. Suddenly another company called PSS or Property Safety Solutions turned up to look after the fire alarm system. Turns out it's a company owned and run by Nicholson's. Let's just say they also dont seem to have a clue what they are doing either! If it were up to me I'd move agents immediately! Have a few friends and work colleagues in the same boat, all with the same opinions. Avoid!!!

Horrific, management agency. Nicholsons fraudulently miss represented the accounts prior to purchase. Refused to answer questions, classic tactic to attempt to avoid liability, hide their incompetence, hide financial management information and their many maintenance failures. Never reply to emails. Then claim can't work with you....you work FOR your clients. If Nicholsons manage your building, beware, they treat you as though they own your building, not the other way around. You have a choice, find a better management company before they run your building into the ground.

Manage our building, will not confirm anything in writing. Left the building at risk after refusing to rectify faults. Claim to be experts in their contract terms, yet have no understanding of Listed Building regulations. Blatant disregard for consumer rights act 2015. Seem to lack the ability to organise themselves on a daily basis, never respond to emails. On the telephone come across as slightly deranged at times, repeating random things out of context, misremembering previous conversations...

Connected to them via Rightmove for property in Scarborough. Can't help put you through to Scarborough Estate agents section. The estate agent department in Scarborough have recently informed me they are under no obligation to tell me anything negative about a property, they do not have to disclose anything such as management fund arrears.....even though the same company manage the building...

Absolutely appalling! There's nothing positive to say about Nicholson's. We own a flat in a building they 'manage'. Maintenance charges increase for no reason & for that they do nothing. Leaking roof, shabby interior & exterior & no communication unless they want money. Selling up simply because of Nicholson's.

I had appoinment to se a 2 bedroom flat with a guy from agency called Josh, I went to wait to see the flat 20 minutes earlyer just in caze. I waited outside with my wife more than one hour ( we froze waiting),I called to agency twice,and they said Josh is gonna come,but afther one hour waiting we left. I do not recommend to now one this agency. They are not serious!!!

Confirmed viewing of a property in Filey via email, turned up to the property and the owners weren't even in as they weren't aware of the viewing. Emailed the sales associate afterwards who we had booked it through to advise of this and never received an apology or explanation from him. Poor service.
