TrustpilotCustomer Care Service with an Emphasis on Care
Moving home is never an easy prospect; which is why, when we chose our new-build at the end of 2022, we were so pleased we chose a new home from Legal and General and their associated construction company Cala Homes. Obviously, with any move, it would be expected that odd issues will crop up from time to time that will need to be resolved. That is where L&G/Cala’s Customer Care Team come into their own and make a real difference. When we have any issues, we deal with the Cotswolds Division of the Customer Care Service and have always found them helpful, polite and responsive to our requests for help They’ve, so far, taken our requests very seriously and have been proactive in resolving them. Recently, we have raised an issue relating to the maintenance of public areas and they have, immediately, arranged to visit and inspect the area to assess what needs to be done. Myself and my neighbours are grateful for their speedy intervention in this matter. Thank you Sheree and Abby for taking this on. In summary, a good team that provide very good all round customer service.

We purchased a 4 bed Gidea from L&G at Cross Trees Park in December 2022. We are extremely pleased with our house, what makes our experience even better is the excellent aftercare from the Customer Services Team, Abby and Simon. Abby is so efficient organising contractors to fix any snagging issues, always addressing things quickly and efficiently. Simon has been absolutely superb, he has attended the property to address issues and he is always on time, professional and super tidy, both Abby and Simon are a credit to the L&G team.

DONT EVER PURCHASE A SHARED OWNERSHIP PROPERTY WITH LEGAL AND GENERAL!! Trying to sell my house and getting absolutely nowhere. Orbit was my original landlord and my sale was going really well with them. Then L&G took over as my landlord and the sale has ground to a halt. My sale will very likely fall through due to buyer not wanting to wait any longer, which is understandable. You can’t phone anyone to speak with an actual human being, all communication is via email which just seems to be constantly ignored. I’ve even written to the CEO and he assured me someone would be in contact today to help resolve the problems. No one has contacted me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Tenant of a legal & general affordable home. Managed by pinnacle, who don’t exist until they want rent or there’s a complaint somewhere. No repair team, no emergency repair team. Had ongoing rat issue since February, caved in sewer with drainage issues still not solved. This week water coming through 2 ceilings, no one to contact and help you. Moving to this property has caused us nothing but misery, money and stress. Biggest mistake we ever made.

GoogleThe sales team are fantastic ans really were brilliant from start to finish and all throughout what was a roller coaster of a ride when it came to selling our previous property. We are now in our new home and love it. It's perfect, spacious and with a wonderful garden which is exactly what we wanted and the estate is so peaceful and perfectly situated to explore the countryside.

In particular I had regular contact with Lily and Nikki who are extremely professional and friendly. I am 2 days into owning the property with only a small handful of minor snags. I bought home from L&G and service is very good initially however once you transfer to extended warranty you get cala customer service and not happy with single person in team. Mine was handle by building manager then transfer under customer service. I moved into my property year back however there are multiple issues not solved properly.

Purchased a property at Cross Tree Park, Shrivenham. Sales team are fantastic however after we moved in and handed over to their so called customer care team the problems begin. Appalling customer care, they challenge the majority of issues and try and blame the customer for substandard products used when building. Emails received from customer care have been extremely rude and they treat their customers with nothing but contempt and disrespect. I requested to speak to a senior manager to make a formal complaint, and what a surprise have heard nothing back, not even an email.

TrustpilotThe houses are really bad, its scam
The houses are bad, not properly designed. The whitewares provided are cheapest in the market. Does not fit in the places they are supposed to. Building managers are worst, they don't even respond to queries and its hard to reach them. But when it comes to payments, they will hunt you to grave. There is no security in building, they have some cameras in building but none of them works when you ask for any footage.
