GoogleJH were selling the house I was buying. They kept in touch, were friendly, personable and responsive. There were some complications on both sides but they were extremely professional and helped get the sale through. I mostly dealt with the managing director and got the impression he took great pride in what he did.

GoogleI recently sold my flat through Jonathan Hunt and the entire process, from the initial contact through to the completion, was absolutely first class. I mostly dealt with Chris Ord in the Ware office and his help, advice and communication is excellent. He is also a friendly guy that makes you feel comfortable that they will handle everything for you. I would recommend JH to anyone looking to buy or sell a property, as I know that they will look after you and make the process as easy as they can.

GoogleFull of broken promises, never on the side of the tenant only care about getting the money. Incompetent staff, Happy to leave paint flaking on new born babies even after being asked many times to sort it out. I'd rather live homeless than rent from these again.

I am sure you understand that we didn't get the money as suggested. The deposit to which you refer too is held by the Deposit Protection Service (an independent arbitrary scheme) to protect landlords and tenants alike. If a landlord feels that a property is not left in the order it should have been left they can request funds be retained by the DPS to cover any works required. The DPS then looks at the evidence supplied by both parties and then decides if the claim is warranted or not. Agents are not involved in the process. I hope this helps clear up the confusion.

GoogleWe've used H&P for rentals and several house sales and we always got the deals done very promptly and at a price that we were happy with. There's no point trying to save money going with the cheap online agents. You need the personal touch and a proper idea of what your house is worth. Many thanks guys!

GoogleCouldn’t have done anything better. Photos taken on Friday, house was online by Monday morning and we had 3 offers above asking price by Friday! Every time I called or emailed with a query the phone was answered or the email replied to promptly. Sounds like a little thing but this is massive to me - that someone picks up the phone when you call! Super nice people, very professional, kept us updated and did any chasing required without being asked. Don’t be conned Into going with an agent that quotes you the highest sales price, they do that just to get the gig and then turn out to be useless service wise. H and p suggested a realistic price at a level that would tempt buyers in and got us sold quickly (for a price well above what we were expecting) rather than starting high and then having to come down. Anyway, they’re the only agent I’d recommend in macc. Thanks to everyone there - Ben, grace, milo, fred
