GoogleJohn Minnis Estate Agents dealt with the sale of my mother’s house. All stages of the sale were handled professionally and speedily. They were always available for advice and guidance. The house sold very quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others. Fantastic service.

GoogleExcellent service from Ross and the team at John Minnis when selling my house recently. I got great advice and everything went smoothly, much better than I had hoped. I also had a great experience when I rented the same house a few years before and would definitely use John Minnis again in future.

GoogleI have to agree with the comments regarding whether you are a buyer or a seller. I have a mortgage in place, hefty deposit and nothing to sell however was told just to check the website for properties to come up. The woman I spoke to was so disinterested, not sure how they then can tell buyers they have a data base of buyers. All very strange, been left with a feeling that they don’t know what they are doing and don’t care. I also see they don’t respond to reviews, even worse!

GoogleThe experience of buying a house with John Minnis was professional, warm and helpful at each stage of the process. Susan, Nicole and Pauline made us feel that nothing was too much for them in terms of answering queries and guiding us through the process of buying. We plan to use John Minnis to sell a house shortly and know the house/process will be in safe and honest hands.

GoogleViewed an apartment in Seapark this week. I was told there was an offer of £210, 000 on it and the vendor would probably accept £215,000 for it. I went home after the viewing at the end of the working day and decided to put in a cash offer the next morning. Whilst showing the property to a builder that evening online it was marked “Agreed” I thought there must be some mistake . When I hadn’t heard anything from the agent by lunchtime (not even a courtesy call) I rang John Minnis. Mr Minnis seemed to think this was acceptable. I feel sorry for the vendor as I was happy to top this offer but the agent didn’t give me the opportunity. Mr Minnis said he would take my offer now but I had lost all taste with this very unprofessional practice.

GoogleRecently sold a house in North Down through Holywood Branch and could not fault them and Branch Manager Emma. They were on the ball from start to finish and looked after photography, cleaning, all viewings and the sales process. I found them well organised and professional and I would recommend

GoogleCouldn't recommend John Minnis more highly and Ross McKnight of Ballyhackamore office in particular. Ross's professionalism and calm approach was so much appreciated, always willing to listen and gave great advice. Never once failed to respond to emails/calls etc. Literally the perfect experience which made a potentially very stressful event very smooth and stress free. It was a huge step for us to sell after over 16 years but Ross gave us the confidence to list our property, knowing there was no pressure and we are delighted with outcome and where we are now as a result. Thank you!

GoogleWe have used John Minnis twice now, for both buying and selling our property and I can’t recommend them enough. They are the best estate agents we have ever used! They were always very attentive to details and helpful to answer any queries we had throughout the process. We have dealt with Ross, Jilly and Heather and they were all amazing people and very professional. Always reassuring and positive when we encountered any bumps in the road. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy estate agente look no further! If we have any other properties in the future we’ll definitely be using them again.

GoogleClearly really good if you are the seller of a house but not if you’re the buyer. Unprofessional, unreliable and be assured than many things mentioned in the listing of the house are false advertising. Awful experience as a first time buyer, got our keys 3 weeks ago and I say that loosely. We got 1 set of keys between us and no key for the garage shutter, we know there was an owner and a renter of this house previously so 2 sets definitely exist. First were told they’d be in the house, they weren’t. We rang and they told us they would be sent out, nothing arrived after a week and a half. We rang again and they told us they would get in touch with the vender, we have been waiting a further week and a half without any communication. Not to mention how many things were wrong with the house, no lights in the kitchen worked (worked when we viewed the house) house description with a dishwasher (doesn’t work) please check every single thing if you plan to buy a house off them. Don’t have high hopes we’ll be able to get use of our shutter, or that anything in our garage would be safe since someone still has a key to it. Appalling

GoogleLaurie was brilliant during the purchase, and a couple of years later, the sale of our property. Is quick to get in touch with updates and grease the gears to get the sale completed as soon as possible. Whilst the property was let, Nicole was great in managing us, the tenants, and the property. Empathetic, quick to get in touch, and effective, I would recommend the John Minnis Comber office to anyone.
