GoogleMany thanks to Chris and Julie @ Minnis for the efficient and personal service extended to my sister and I recently on selling our parents' home. We appreciated the kindness and cheerfulness at what could be described as a "difficult" time for the family.

GoogleA big thank you to Julie at John Minnis for all your help. Nothing was too much trouble and you made a very stressful experience go well for my elderly parents. Great estate agents. Would use again and certainly recommend.

GoogleI had a very tricky house sale that lasted quite sometime. Issues re planning and building control from the 60s. I lost my sales a few times however I had the backing of the JM team who each time were fabulous in getting my sale back in focus and eventually we crossed the line. I’ve never been so glad to see a SOLD sign. Well done to Julie the calm voice of good news and Chris whose voice I started to dread. Lovely people in JM. I will defo be using you for any further sales.

GoogleI recently sold my house through John Minnis Estate Agents and the service I received was excellent. Ross McKnight was the agent dealing with my sale and he couldn't have been more helpful. My emails were always responded to almost immediately, he liaised with my buyer, solicitor, and kept me informed every step of the way. I would have no hesitation recommending John Minnis (Ballyhackamore) for a very professional, friendly, service.

GoogleWe sold our property in June this year and our main point of contact was Ross. The service from Ross and the rest of his colleagues was second to none. We were kept updated on a regular basis and were delighted to receive an offer over asking price very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble for Ross and we would definitely recommend John Minnis Ballyhackamore.

GoogleWhere very unhelpful when buying from them quite rude on the phone would not recommend them
2/5
GooglePoor experience selling with John Minnis. Didn't feel they did enough to actually sell the house and get the right viewers through the door in numbers, once sale agreed I didn't feel they kept on top of the case well enough and were poor in communicating with the various parties involved. My case turned out to be a difficult one given unique circumstances of covid, which is obviously beyond the control of JM but the issues are not solely related to that. Every time I rang I always seemed to be told "I was just about to call you". We randomly had our main contact in the office changed halfway through. Every time I spoke on the phone I would get talked over rather than listened to. Overall just did not feel like a valued customer, it's probably a different experience if you're selling a £1m property. My case was eventually escalated to John Minnis himself, which I did appreciate speaking to him, however some of the information given to me buy him turned out to be inaccurate and the conversation was not followed up with an email as promised. There are less expensive solicitors out there who will potentially offer you a better value for money service. Giving 1 star would be unfair, as when push came to shove they did do some good work but only when things were at absolute breaking point. Overall disappointing experience with a name that is so well respected in the area. Hopefully my case was a one off and others have a far better time with them.
