FacebookI have dealt with various estate agents in my time, some good, some embarrassingly incompetent. I can only speak for the sales representative for Hudson Moody 'Rose Dawson' who has dealt with my purchase from start to finish. I have been extremely impressed with her approachable friendly nature which i feel is vital to efficiently do her job. Every step of the process Rose has liaised with me and ensured a smooth/efficient transaction by ensuring both parties were aware of what stage we were at and what blockers there maybe or what was required by each party to ensure progress. Give her a pay-rise or promotion because friendly, efficient and highly emotionally intelligent estate agents are few and far between. I look forward to my next purchase. Martin Tasker

FacebookHudson Moody went above and beyond on our recent house purchase. Nothing was too much trouble for Rose, who was dealing with the purchase. Rose was very efficient, I never once had to chase. All of the staff were very friendly, especially Rose. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Hudson Moody again and will be recommending to friends and family! A big thank you for our beautiful bunch of flowers on our moving in day too. Five star service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

FacebookProperty rented out with Hudson Moody, York. I have to ring up every month re rent due in. Am told it’s due on the 11th of each month and can take 2-3 days from their bank to ours. Yet a BACS payment is near enough instant. Funny when I ring to complain - an hour or two later it’s in our bank. It’s the 15th at 2.30pm now and no sign off payment . We rent our property out as it didn’t sell but are dependent on the rent money to pay our mortgage. Just not good enough, obviously sitting on cash for few days. If payment is late surely we should be told? We obviously pay more for a total management service but don’t seem to have had this ‘service’. Had no feedback or if property been checked. Very disappointed will not be putting property up for rent with them again.

We will look into this as it is not in anyway in our interest to hold monies as we are not able to claim any interest on this amount whilst it is in our account under client money rules, this leads us to believe your tenant is paying late. However we will report back to you. Sorry that you are experiencing this problem.

FacebookRose was great at keeping us informed and was a reassuring voice when we were having difficulties with our sale (not through Hudson Moody). The purchase of our new home felt pretty stress free, and while Alex was a bit keen on occasion, overall the service was good. Bunch of flowers sent after the move was a lovely touch too.

FacebookI have recently sold two investment properties through Hudson Moody. The first sold very quickly to the first person to make an offer. The second was much more problematic with several buyers dropping out for different reasons. However sound advice from Ben and tenacity from Rory saw the second sale completed recently. I strongly recommend this Estate Agent.

FacebookI have used Hudson Moody Lettings for 2 years and I have been very pleased with the service they have provided me. I have tenants for 10 months of the year. They have worked well with myself and the tenants and have found good reasonably priced contractors to undertake any necessary repairs. The hand overs between my stays at the house and tenant move in and out dates has worked well. I highly recommend their service. Thank you

FacebookFrom my initial viewing with Ben to receiving the keys for my new home - Jane and the team at Hudson Moody made relocating to York a pleasure. Professional and friendly, they showed a lot of flexibility, were always available and were very human and caring in the more challenging times with the bottom of our chain! I would recommend without hesitation.
