Chloe was absolutely incredible and vital at getting our purchase across the line. Our chain was complicated and slow and she ensured that we managed to complete. She kept us in the loop, chased solicitors and other agents and helped us keep our sanity. Without Chloe I think the chain would have collapsed. She definitely deserves recognition for her hard work and dedication to her role.

Moving house can be a stressful time and for me, for a number of reasons, it was particularly so. I found all the staff at Hudson Moody friendly and helpful. They responded quickly to my questions with great expertise and there was always someone available who was familiar with my case. They worked well with others involved in the chain. Highly rate Hudson Moody for the excellent level of service that they offered during the selling and buying process. During the valuation stage, Ben was excellent. Very polite, professional and friendly. He did not seem the type of estate agent to just want a sale. His professionalism and knowledge of property and York was superb. I’d also like to say a big thank you to Rose who supported me throughout the whole process. Nothing was a problem and the level of customer service was exceptional; she really reassured me through it all and is an asset to the company. It really means so much to have someone you trust supporting you. I really wouldn’t consider another estate agent. With Rose and Ben - you can’t go wrong!

Had a fantastic experience with Hudson Moody - Rose and Jane were on the ball throughout, top communicators and people of ACTION. After several months with another "top" York agent we had little interest and no offers. We switched to HM & the flood gates opened. Clear feed back from viewings enabled us to make minor changes which made all the difference and very quickly sold at asking price. Then the legal process started - the solicitors became stuck in treacle and we had given up. Rose and Jane grasped the initiative and simply MADE things happen through to completion. Without them we have no doubt that the transaction would have failed. A wonderful agent with great, friendly and helpful people

Hudson Moody went above and beyond on our recent house purchase. Nothing was too much trouble for Rose, who was dealing with the purchase. Rose was very efficient, I never once had to chase. All of the staff were very friendly, especially Rose. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Hudson Moody again and will be recommending to friends and family! We have been most impressed with Alex McClean at Hudson Moody, Dunnington. He has been professional, proactive and communicative throughout the process of selling the property. He set up a substantial number of viewing within the first few days, and an acceptable offer was made within the first two days. When we decided to relist the property, Alex arranged visits for several buyers immediately and the house sold again quickly. From start to finish - which took longer than expected due to no fault of Hudson Moody or indeed the solicitor I employed - I was contacted frequently about the progress - in a manner which was always friendly and professional - by every member of staff - though special mention for Rose. Hudson Moody managed the sale of our property very professionally. They kept in touch, and were able to provide useful suggestions to keep the rather slow process moving successfully. They took care of keys, and even helped with final meter readings and with adjusting heating in a cold spell. Property rented out with Hudson Moody, York. I have to ring up every month re rent due in. Am told it’s due on the 11th of each month and can take 2-3 days from their bank to ours. Yet a BACS payment is near enough instant. Funny when I ring to complain - an hour or two later it’s in our bank. It’s the 15th at 2.30pm now and no sign off payment . We rent our property out as it didn’t sell but are dependent on the rent money to pay our mortgage. Just not good enough, obviously sitting on cash for few days. If payment is late surely we should be told? We obviously pay more for a total management service but don’t seem to have had this ‘service’. Had no feedback or if property been checked. Very disappointed will not be putting property up for rent with them again.

The Poppleton branch have just sold my house from a first viewing for the 2nd time in record time. Ruth, Jane and the rest of the team work really hard and the communication is fantastic. Highly recommended and wouldn’t consider using anybody else.
