GoogleI wanted to leave a review for H&W. Although they were acting on behalf of the seller, Sophie, Jorja, Sammy and the entire team were simply outstanding throughout the process. Despite the many challenges encountered during conveyancing, they went above and beyond to overcome every obstacle we had and keep the purchase moving forward as quickly as possible. Our sale progressor Sophie was always available, whether during the day, in the evening, or even while on holiday abroad. Everyone’s communication, dedication and professionalism were exceptional. Buying and moving house can be incredibly stressful, but they genuinely understood the pressure involved and provided reassurance every step of the way. In fact, they cared so much about the transaction that it often felt as though they were acting on our behalf rather than the seller’s. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. From start to finish, Kiah went completely above and beyond, dealing tirelessly with an incredibly incompetent solicitor at the bottom of the chain and spending nearly every day on the phone chasing things through to keep the process moving. Not only was she exceptionally professional and proactive, but she also became somewhat of a counselling service for us during the stress of it all! Nothing was ever too much trouble and she kept us informed every step of the way, often even out of hours, which we truly appreciated. We chose Harris + Wood because of their professionalism and high standards, and they absolutely did not disappoint. A special mention also goes to Stephen, who assisted with the sale and provided an equally professional and supportive service throughout. GoogleI recently had the pleasure of working with Naomi while purchasing my home. Although the sale process took longer than expected, this was no fault of the agency. Throughout the entire process, Naomi was proactive, persistent, and always on top of things, regularly keeping me updated and taking away the stress of having to chase for information myself. I can’t thank her enough for all of her hard work and support. She is a real credit to the company and would be a valuable asset to any team.

Liars!! These clowns left me and my partner and 2 dogs homeless because of their lies.. we signed contracts last Friday ready to collect the keys, told me the landlord have confirmed this moving in date (to which I have this in writing on WhatsApp from Kane) turns out, the land lord had no idea of this what so ever and he was told we were moving in in mid June… the lies didn’t stop there… I have every bit of evidence time lined and thankfully are in contact with the landlord who was also lied to several times. We paid the deposit and month in advance last Friday but didn’t actually sign the correct contract until Monday (possible against the new act that was introduced this year) I’ll have that looked into.. long and the short of it is, we were left with costs of nearing £2000 for van hire, dog boarding and our own temporary accommodation, not to mention the time spent and stress having to deal with all this because of the lies from mainly Kane but closely followed by Megan who I believe was trying to cover up Kanes lies… This is totally disgraceful and despite e-mails to the Colchester branch manager Conner, I have heard NOTHING from him or anyone from the company … not even so much as an apology…. We are now in the house which gives me the time to get all this evidence and chain of events to my solicitor… We would never recommend these people and are just grateful that they do not manager the property we are renting so never have to deal with them again

Any vendor or purchaser would be lucky to have her working on their transaction as she goes above and beyond every time to make sure the work that needs to be done gets done. She is always available on the phone, professional, polite, and able to fill me in with information whenever required, and I couldn't recommend her highly enough. Both Naomi and Sophie, when required to step in, have also done a wonderful job when needed.

GoogleI wouldn't hesitate to recommend H&W. Every branch I've had contact with historically has been great - this one is no exception! I initially met Sammy during my search for a new home who was excellent - really professional, on time, patient, very helpful. It was Sammy who actually reached out to me about the property I've ended up buying too! The entire team listen and treat you like a person instead of a number. At handover stage to Sophie, the excellent service continued and was consistent. Sophie has been so proactive right the way through, she's called when she has said she would, updated me regularly, has been so friendly and has been considerate of my own situation. I couldn't have asked for more from the team, especially Sophie. Thank you so much for taking a huge amount of pressure and stress away and for all you've done to help me move into my new home.

GoogleAbsolutely amazing Estate Agents, literally the best out there. I would 100 million percent recommend Harris + Wood to family, friends, everyone! From start to finish we were guided, made to feel at ease and helped every step of the way. We gave Harris + Wood a mammoth task of selling two neighbouring properties that had to complete at exactly the same time and we needed to find two seperate buyers ideally within six weeks! From Steve's first initial visit to our homes when he said they will certainly do their very best to get this done for us to Connor sorting the contracts between us and Harris + Wood to Tom coming round to our properties for many veiwings with potential buyers and Matty negotiating and agreeing both sales, (which was achieved within the 6 weeks) Both properties were then passed onto our sales progressor Kiah. Well what can I say about Kiah, she is brilliant at her job she is kind, caring and professional and takes on all the stresses and strains that would normally fall to us as the sellers and she pushed through both sales to complete on the same day! We wouldn't have been able to do this without her. Every single member of staff who helped us through this process at Harris + Wood are an absolute credit to the company and we would like to say a massive THANK YOU to each and every one of you.
