GoogleJessie was the nicest estate agent I have met. She made me feel cared for and supported me throughout the process giving me any information I didn’t know. She’d send me messages often asking how the sale was going and would offer to communicate with the sellers or solicitors when we hadn’t heard news. GoogleThe estate agent from Foster & Co who just showed a prospective tenant around our rented flat just outright lied to the prospective tenant TWICE, right in front of me.
The prospective tenant's questions:
1. 'Is the landlord alright?' The agent answered 'yeah, we've had no problems'. This comes after I had explained to the agent 2 weeks ago how I had felt threatened by the landlord after a recent conversation with him and no longer felt comfortable being on my own around him.
2. 'Is it gas central heating?' The agent answered 'yes'. The flat actually has an electric boiler (as mentioned to the agent 2 weeks ago) and therefore costs 3x the amount of a gas boiler. VERY important information for a new tenant to know before they put in an offer.
