GooglePoor service had me waiting for weeks to do my checks then I failed due to not earning enough even though I told them my salary and they refused to give my holding deposit back. I will never use them again

It is really unfortunate that you feel the need to give us a 1 star review due to the results of failing an independent referencing report. Part of the initial process to secure a property would be to complete our ‘Offer to Rent’ form, so we have no part in recording the information you provide. We can only facilitate the process by explaining to you the minimum requirements of the referencing agency, which include a minimum salary figure of 30 x the monthly rent, satisfactory credit score and a positive landlord reference. Delays will only occur when the information requested by the referencing agency remain outstanding, which unfortunately is out of our control. It is also out of our control if the referencing agency find the information an applicant has provided to be incorrect. There is no benefit for Fairfields or the landlord when an application is declined, as the landlord is back to square one having to find another tenant. Even though your application was not successful, we wish you all the best and hope you find a new home soon.

GoogleThis company are not professional at all. Never helped me when I wanted to view properties. When I had some booked in I would never get any confirmation to say it has been booked in. When I would ring they would just say its of the market now. If this was the last estate agents on the planet and I needed a place, I would rather be homeless

Dear S M, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I would firstly point out that our software automatically confirms appointments for viewings, so I am not sure how your first issue would occur. We also have a very strict Covid safety policy for viewings, so you would have been advised of this when confirming a viewing. The second point you made regarding us telling you that a property is now off market, this would only be because properties are coming on to the market and we are agreeing a sale or rental very quickly. It can often be the case that applicants make an inquiry for a property without realising that it has been marked 'Under Offer', but at the same time we always ask if they would like us to keep them informed, by email, when new instructions come on the market. If you provide me with your email address I will look at the appointments you have made to see what happened. If you still feel the same i can also make sure you are deleted from our records.

They always there for you, highly recomend them. Hi Verity, We are very surprised to see your rating this morning, especially as my colleagues all believed they had a great rapport with you. We can only imagine it is something to do with the independent inventory clerk and the points raised as tenant responsibility when you vacated the property. We can see there were small issues raised, but our job is to amicably resolve these points between tenant and landlord. We can assure you there is no financial gain for us or the landlord and we attempt to address any works as cost effective as possible.
