I couldn’t be more pleased with my first home. I had been looking for a new build home for a while and never really found anything I liked. I fell in love when I found eccleston homes at Garret Manor. Being a first buyer and buying the house alone I had a million questions. Chris was amazing nothing was ever too much trouble such a lovely lady. I was so very impressed with the standard and finish on everything in the house when I got the keys such high spec finishes. I had very few ‘snags’. I am beyond delighted with my home & experience with EH I definitely recommend them.

Absolutely terrible company Aggressive sales process, doesn’t give you time to think never mind read all the legal documentation- but never mind, the solicitor that they force you to use will look after you and before you know it, you have a mortgage on a property that you don’t actually own you just lease from the offshore company they have sold your freehold to! 100’s of snags, make you feel like right pains as “you are the only unhappy customer on the estate” which you later find out not to be true.A terrible experience from start to finish.

We have recently exchanged contracts to purchase a home with Eccleston. We made our reservation during the height of the lockdown and its restrictions. However, given these restrictions and an uncertain future for ‘home buying’ we have found Eccleston Homes and their staff to be very personable, friendly, and helpful. This weekend we called in to confirm our options and extras... as ever the guys have been super great & accommodating for our situation and delays. We would like to mention that in particularly Chris and Yvonne have been great advocates and guides for us in the home buying experience- always friendly, attentive, and easy-going. Service like this from sales consultants really helps us feel that we have made the right decision to buy with Eccleston. We recommend that anyone considering buying in the area to call into the Garrett Manor development and see for themselves. Lovely homes, good service, and a fantastic personal offering with so many great options / extras as standard not usually seen with other more mainstream developers.

We've reserved a plot on Silk Rose Place thanks to Amy. Our house sale and original purchase fell through due to lockdown issues with our buyer but Amy helped us to secure another using the part exchange scheme. That worked really well for us and takes out all the stress. She's been fantastic throughout.

Trying to get any information from them is useless. Would not recommend them to anyone. Please avoid other good builders available!!

Looking at Eccleston’s Google reviews, I think we’ve had a pretty similar experience to most but I thought I’d write a quick summary of all of the ways Eccleston have tried to make things difficult for us:1. Threatening us with pulling out of the sale when we were already serving notice on our rented accommodation due to not being able to exchange as the Land Registry Checks hadn’t come back from the council. 2. Installing the wrong kitchen in our house and being told that they had plenty of people who were interested and if we were unhappy then we should just live somewhere else.3. Telling us our freehold wasn’t for sale before selling it to Landmark Collections (who I believe they sell all of their freeholds to) who are, just like you read in the news, another company just out to defraud helpless leaseholders. Cannot he contacted by phone, email or letter. Adding additional charges without reason. Demanding money for time periods when they didn’t own the freehold. It only gets worse from there.We asked Eccleston to help us out but they said they have nothing to do with 3rd parties so we should take it up with the company I have already told them I haven’t been able to get any response from in over 3 months. I’d suggest that you would definitely be better buying your house with a reputable home builder rather than these fly by night conmen.
