I cannot recommend Davies & Davies highly enough especially Carole & Catheryn in the lettings department. I needed to find a tenant for my property and approached without hesitation this Estate Agent as they have an excellent reputation. Their fees were extremely competitive and their service fantastic. A tenant was found pretty much straight away and they dealt with all the referencing, contracts, deposit etc. They kept me informed with warm and friendly communication. The team at Davies and Davies have been excellent. Our sale isn't quite complete but when our initial sale fell through Nick and Alex worked hard to find us another buyer, which they managed in a week! We are also buying from them, and they managed to get us a pre-market viewing, we were able to make an offer prior to the property going on the market. We've just completed on the purchase of our new home through Davies & Davies in Trowbridge and the staff were quite simply superb. From day one nothing was too much trouble, they were quick to respond to any questions we had and were head and shoulders above other agents we spoke to in the area. Special thanks to Nick Graves the manager, Steve Smith, Katherine Bly and Louise Fowler. When we sell in the future, which we're not planning too by the way, we wouldn't go anywhere else. Quite simply the best agent in Trowbridge.

I decided to use Davies and Davies to market my property following excellent support received when moving to the area several years ago, and being impressed by their service. I was not disappointed! Dan explained the process very clearly when he came to give me an appraisal of my property, and followed this up with the preparation of the marketing materials very quickly, which were excellent. Dan and Arnie then ensured all viewings were fitted in around me, which was very much appreciated due to Covid-19 restrictions and working from home. The excellent support continued all the way to completion, providing updates at all times and stepping forward when needed to ensure we got the sale across the line. 100% recommend them to anyone selling a property in the Bradford on Avon area.

Davies and Davies sold my father's house exactly as they promised. A buyer was found very quickly and at all stages I, being at a distance of 100 miles, was kept informed. Anthony was in regular contact and was empathetic in his handling of the situation which had caused the sale. Dan did a good job of marketing the property initially. Finally, on completion day, I spoke to both Helen and Anthony who were very helpful.

We can’t recommend the services of Davis & Davis enough. Agents often come in for a lot of flack, can be considered untrustworthy & unprofessional but without a doubt the team at Davis & Davis dispel all these preconceived myths. From the moment we met Dan we knew our property would be in safe hands, the team worked tirelessly to find our buyer and we always felt our best interests were being looked after. Professional, ethical, friendly, conscientious and dedicated. Not the cheapest fee but why would you go cheap when your selling what’s probably your biggest asset! Use Davis & Davis and you certainly won’t regret it.

We have been very impressed with how Dan and the team at Davies and Davies have managed our house purchase (which was within a very long chain) at what is already an extremely challenging time for everyone. Dan was always very cheerful and positive when he contacted us and it was clear that he avoided doing so (in a good way) unless it was absolutely necessary. With so many people in the chain, it was really helpful that as an organisation they took charge of co-ordinating everything making it all run as smoothly as possible. Many thanks.

I wouldn’t even give 1 star if there wasn’t an option. Offered an exclusive viewing and led to believe we would have first offer, we later found out further viewings took place and were out bid. All very suspicious, we were in another one of their customers chain and constantly assured it was in theirs and everyone’s interest to secure the property! Wouldn’t trust a word they say and won’t have anything to do with them in the future! Steer well clear!
