Thank you for taking the time to review Dart & Partners' services, although we are somewhat confused as to why you have given us a one star review.
You will recall that your wife initially viewed a rental property with us in Dawlish on 27 September last year at a block viewing session along with 7 other applicants.
Following on from this, there were three separate applications received, all of which were submitted to the landlord to consider. As you are aware, the landlord decided to proceed with your application and you were notified of this immediately and also that we needed further information from you in order for the application to proceed.
At this stage you will also recall that we made it very clear that, until the referencing had been completed, it would be unwise for you to give notice to end the tenancy at your current property.
As you are also aware the landlord then unfortunately had to completely withdraw the property from the rental market due to entirely unforeseen circumstances. We contacted you immediately to let you know and also to see if we could help to find an alternative property for you to rent.
You were not charged any fees by us and we did nothing other than act professionally and courteously at all times. The situation, that we assume has led to the one star review, was entirely outside our control although we did our best to limit any impact this may have had.

GoogleAfter moving out 3 weeks ago and chasing daily, they have still not responded to our requests for our deposit back. When speaking to the staff they are rude and dismissive, and were throughout our tenancy. Communication has been poor always, lettings department are awful to deal with. After explaining to us that they would help as much as possible when notifying us that our tenancy would be ending in late November (by quickly dropping an envelope through the door and scurrying away, no phone call or prior warning and 10 days after our baby was born) they have been a nightmare to deal with. After the 14 day statutory period elapsed for them to return our deposit we were sent a list of superficial ridiculous points that would require "works" to rectify. Including removal of flowers we left for the landlord upon departure. That was 7 days ago and after daily emails from us we still have had no response. Apparently once you have left a property you are no longer a concern. Families beware of renting through this company.

GoogleDart acted as our letting agent for 8 years, and provided an excellent service throughout that time. The staff are always cheerful and helpful, and they always responded to any communications quickly which was important to me. They secured good quality tenants, and when occasional problems occurred, they acted promptly to inform me and resolve them. Sub contractors used for property maintenance were always at a reasonable rate. We had a few tenancy changes and these always went smoothly with minimum void time between them. The eventual sale of the flat was co-ordinated smoothly which was pleasing, as this can be difficult with tenants in situ. I would definitely recommend and use them again

Placed my property with this estate agents and received dreadful service. The majority of my viewings I had to do myself because whenever they telephoned to book a viewing it was always "sorry we can't do it" and the viewings they did do were restricted to a 20 minute window - how can you expect someone to make a decision on a major purchase in 20 minutes?I was also informed by some of my viewings that when they had gone into the office asking for properties like mine that they were not shown my property and that they had had to find it for themselves on the internet. To test this theory I then sent a friend into the office posing as a buyer and sure enough my house was not shown to them.I think this agency have far too many properties on their books and not enough staff to provide the attention you require and deserve as their client.Good luck if you choose to use this agency
