Awful service! Phoned in a week ahead to book a viewing. Wasn’t informed about the time slot or address. Didn’t received any email or text message regarding the address or time slot as promised. Had to phone in that very morning just to be told that it was my fault not asking for the address by calling again and that they have no responsibility whatsoever for what happened. This is awful for professionals who need to take time off in advance and travel for hours to do viewing in Cardiff.

When we book a viewing appointment, we do so with an agreement of the day/time with the viewer, so we can be sure that the both parties are available. You should have therefore been aware of the day/time of your appointment, as it would've been agreed with you. At the same time, we communicate the meeting place, which is typically at the property to be viewed. Once booked, our software automatically sends out viewing appointment confirmation. We were shown around a lovely place by Jessica. She was polite, professional and held some brief and interesting conversation with us. I'd recommend CPS Homes to anyone, as the staff are lovely, and the properties were exactly what we were looking for.

CPS are faultless as a lettings company for Landlords. Always keep you up to date and take any hassle off your hands. I’ve been with them for around 20 years and have no complaints at all. In that time I’ve never had a vacant property. Unbelievable service really. I know they’ve had some bad publicity in the press but don’t believe what you read .

I had a viewing with Jordan,it was a lovely experience, very patient and professional in approach and was able to meet my needs when searching for a property. I also got a quick response from CPS, I was able to schedule a viewing immediately, not like some other agencies that requested your life history prior to viewing their properties.Thanks to CPS and Jordan,keep it up!

I wanted to give a special thanks to Emma George, who has been super helpful with fixing issues around our rental property. We have been living here for about 3 years, as it is victorian home, there were maintenance issues to address. Emma was super communicative and even adjusted her schedule to align with ours. She made us feel heard and supported.

Awful agents, don’t respond to any queries or offer any help whatsoever. Regretting not listening to the bad reviews/press and choosing to rent with them. Avoid at all costs.

Hi Alanis, Thank you for leaving a review. We’re aware that you have had a leak into the property you occupy and we manage. As this was caused by an issue with a communal soil stack, stemming from a property that isn’t managed by CPS Homes, the block managers for the building, First Port, have been handling the repair. As explained previously, First Port are the appointed managers for the whole building, meaning your landlord, the owner of the ‘other property’ and every other owner in the block pay them a service charge to handle communal-related issues within the building. We understand you have been unhappy with the speed at which First Port have handled the matter. We, too, are unhappy, and have voiced this to them in no uncertain terms. Your landlord has done the same. Unfortunately, as the repair is outside of both ours and the landlord’s remits, we haven’t been able to do anything to influence the speed, other than to apply the pressure we have been applying. We’re sorry if you feel this isn’t enough, and we’re sorry if you feel our communication to you during this process hasn't been up to standard, though we do believe we've done everything we could given that things are outside of our control. We have sought to update you at every opportunity, even when the update was not to your (nor our, nor the landlord’s) liking. We’re aware that you have requested compensation for the inconvenience caused. As this matter is not service-related, it is not for CPS Homes to offer compensation, and it is not our place to decide that your landlord must offer you compensation. We have done what we can, which is to pass on your request for compensation to the landlord, and we will let you know how they respond. We will continue to assist you on this matter via e-mail, where we hope to secure a positive outcome for you. Kind regards, The CPS Homes Team.

Me and my partner will be soon moving in to a new property thanks to CPS and their operator Rhiannon. In terms of admin work and tenant liaison, it was handled very efficently whilst remaining flexible with certain needs. Admin fixtures did turn up, however they were dealt with great understanding and haste. Thank you for your help Rhiannon!

Scott was fantastic to deal with, very easy to chat too and explained clearly what he wanted to achieve. He was very friendly in fact slightly bonkers but great fun to work with. I was very impressed with the property video preview of myself and my horse and thought it looked very professional & slick. Me and my partner met Flo when we were viewing the property and she was extremely lovely, confident and bright. We got on with her instantly and she showed us around the property and we instantly loved it. She has been extremely helpful, answering our emails very quickly and despite how stressful renting a flat can be, the process was made so much easier thanks to Florence Bailey!
