GoogleFantastic service from Charter Whyman! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could, best estate agents by far. They were very attentive and considerate from start to finish, always keeping me updated and chasing various people alongside me. Extremely professional as well so a huge thank you to all but a special mention to Danny who went above and beyond!

GoogleWe engaged Charter Whyman to sell our 2 bedroom flat in Letchworth, and could not have been more impressed with their service and professionalism. We dealt with Danny, Simon and Andrew, all of who were brilliant at keeping us updated throughout the process, liaising with all parties to ensure everything ran smoothly. Photos were taken and brochure prepared on the Monday by Simon, first viewing conducted by Danny on Tuesday, and we accepted an offer on Wednesday. The sale completed this week, around 9 weeks after accepting the offer. I don't think Charter Whyman could have improved any part of the experience, and we would not hestiate to use their services again. Thanks again gents!

GoogleCharter Whyman recently handled the sale of both my mother’s house and my wife and my house. The whole team was exceptional. Simon was the lead on our sales, one of which had a chain with some complexity, requiring considerable skill, calm and perseverance on his part. Simon and the wider team were immaculate in ensuring effective communication with us at all times. As one who has high expectations, I cannot speak highly enough of Simon and all his colleagues. GoogleBuying a new home can be a very frustrating process especially if you haven't done so for a number of years so good and prompt communication is vital to the process. A good solicitor is accepted as the norm, but equally as important is the estate agent, whether buying or selling. In our case we were buying and Danny at Charter Whyman was brilliant in not only keeping us informed during the process, that in our case involved a probate property, but also in 'managing' the two solicitors involved. Our property visits were handled promptly and any additional information we required was progressed rapidly. So a big thankyou for your service Danny!

The firm was extremely professional and helpful all the way through the transaction and attentive to the various travails that naturally occur during the potentially stressful process of selling a home. They successfully dealt with potential and eventual purchasers as well as solicitors and local authorities (itself a challenge in Letchworth, given its status as the first ‘Garden City’!) A special mention of Danny Poulton who worked tirelessly on our behalf; with energy and humour. He nudged where needed and pestered to get things done. Thanks, Danny. Thanks Charter Whyman.

GoogleFrom the very first appointment of taking the original details of my house for sale Simon was 'on the ball'. He was respectful, professional and everything you would want from an Estate Agent. Danny took over once my house was listed and again from the 'Get Go' he was understanding, efficient, constantly chasing the whole chain for updates (it was a long complex chain). He was generally available but I only had to leave a message if he was out and he never failed to get back to me, even if he didn't have anything further to add. Right to the very last minute of completion he was 'ahead of the game' and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them for any potential moving requirements. Best I've ever used and I've moved many times over the years. 5* plus from me :-)

GoogleDanny at Charter Whyman has been exceptional from beginning to end during our house buying experience. From initial viewings to negotiation he was a pleasure to work with. It was a rocky road to completion but thanks to Danny’s hard work at chasing the chain, brilliant communication and a good sense of humour he kept the complex chain together and helped keep my stress levels in check. We have found our forever home now, but if we ever did decide to move again I wouldn’t consider hiring anyone else to work with. Having a professional estate agent on your side can make or break a house sale and I’m so glad we had Danny on our side. Can’t recommend him highly enough!

GoogleWe had such a good experience buying a house through Charter Whyman 5 years ago that they were the obvious choice when we recently sold. The service has been outstanding. Our house sold promptly, in large part because Charter Whyman understand the local market and put together some great marketing materials. After we sold, Jonathan went out of his way time and time again to follow up across the chain on progress, and to keep us updated. When things stalled or hit an obstacle, Jonathan, Danny and the team came up with creative solutions to get things moving again, which was a massive weight off our shoulders. Nothing was ever any trouble - Jonathan was always at the end of the phone if we had any concerns. I can’t really recommend them highly enough! Thank you again!

GoogleWe bought our house through Charter Whyman and had an excellent experience. Danny arranged the viewing for us and guided us very professionally through the initial offer stage. After that, we mainly dealt with Andrew, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He kept me informed at every key stage, regularly calling to make sure I knew what was happening. He went above and beyond by chasing our lender’s surveyor and coordinating between our surveyor and the lender’s far more than I’d expect from an agent. His experience and knowledge of local properties were invaluable, especially when we hit a few hiccups along the way. I cannot recommend Charter Whyman highly enough to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!
