Most underhanded evil people

Most underhanded evil people. You buy a house only for them to sell it to a preferred cash buyer anyway. Completely untrustworthy in every way

Do not buy Bovis Home!

Worst purchase ever made. It was supposed to be dream home instead it's daily nightmare!I have been with them back and forth about the noisy stairs. Today i've had a carpenter around and they said no amount of screws into stair thread and caulk will fix the issue. There are significant construction issues with the stairs and they can repair it properly but cannot guarantee cost will not match the cost of the new staircase! One of the most expensive item in an expensive home!Bovis customer service is useless, they cannot find the email trails and issues raised. I've been in the home for barely 5 years and i cannot say they have resolved any given issue properly once!Front door looked at million times and replaced once - well looks like need another replacing.Dealing with Bovis Homes it's a full time job and you are being conned.

Bovis Homes- Stalbridge, Dorset

Wow a near miss. Having read all the negative reviews, a company that changed its name and no designated email for complaints. This says it all. We were interested in a plot at the location, but despite several visits, Bovis sold the last six 4 bed plots to a housing association. I pity the people who have bought on the open market.End of accounting year in June for Bovis andwanted to get rid of units. They forgot to take down the sales signs!Having read all the negative reviews - Bovis have actually done other people a favour.Sales staff did not even know this and they were the people site! Clueless say no more . Do not buy from Bovis

Nice place to look for 3, 4 bedroom houses. Comes under harpole, very beautiful surroundings. No traffic or city rush. Good place to live

If I could give Bovis/ Vistry a minus rating, then I would. They have by far made this buying experience the worst. …

Unskilled 'Trades'

Labourers are doing skilled workers jobs on Bovis Homes. As far as they are concerned, if you have a 'Labourer' CSCS card, this makes you a skilled worker to undertake jobs like Bricklaying, Roofing, Carpentry etc.Its no wonder that the homes are so poorly built. The Emmer Green site in Reading is a prime example of £800,000 homes being built by two-bob tradesmen. How the NHBC covers these sites are as equally shocking.

The worst customer experience we have ever had to deal with. From a flooded kitchen to no WiFi for months to snags around the house that have still not been dealt with - and found by external tradesmen to be an issue before we moved in - we’ve been left feeling stressed, upset and let down countless times in our new home.

Do not purchase a property from Bovis…

Do not purchase a property from Bovis Homes or Vistry Group.Despite all the promises they won't follow through on the snags that you flag after completing the purchase. We've been trying to get an issue fixed since August and they constantly delay and deflect. And their Customer Service could not care less.

If I could give 0 stars then I would

If I could give 0 stars then I would. Whatever you do, do not buy a house from this company if you want any form of straight forward house buying process. The company are pathetic. They are that bad that they have come off social media. I can only assume that is because of the level of complaints that they would have received! We have been on one of their Linden sites for 2 years now and are still having problems with them.

the worst builders in the UK

They are the worst builders in the UK. They use very cheap materials for thier new builds. We bought a house within 6months the windows were blown out. We called them to repair it even though there’s a warranty they refused. All home owners on my street have their baths rusted within 3 years of purchasing a new build including mine. They used wrong doors for the whole estate. A real joke. They are horrible!

Cowboys

There not selling their homes cause their cowboys, the entire company is the shambles, from houses, to gardens to roads, to attitudes, to the shi**iest of customer service their all deffo in sync with their not giving a hoot attitude, reuin your personal propertie I.e cars ect with the diabolical roads they balls up and have to rip up near enough on a daily basis the local council won't even adopt the roads yet as they're in a sorry state, houses are not much better either. Best advice is avoid avoid avoid. These also go by the name of linden homes. countryside homes, and countryside partnership.I've put today's date however this has been ongoing since november 2021 and is still ongoing their utterly vulger.

Sean was Awful

A sales advisor named Sean in the Warwickshire area made my experience horrible. I don't have any issues with the house, the build is great. But Sean was horrendous. 1. Flooring was included in my sale. It was in the contract.2. Sean let's me pick the flooring.3. View the house before completion, the floor was wrong. 4. Sean says there must have been an error on his end, I will either get an offer for money compensation or floor will be corrected. 5. 1 hr after speaking to him, he tells me bovis won't correct the floor or offer money entitlement. I raise it to the Director named Katy.6. They both tell me it is what it is I have no entitlement to the floor being corrected. We go back and forth arguing for 3 weeks.7. A few days before completion he phones me to apologise and that his actions aren't an accurate representation of Bovis Homes. The flooring will be corrected. This was due to the intervention of a different Director without whom I would have had to take them to a small claims court.8. After a month of not hearing back from Sean regarding snags or flooring correction, I find out he has left the business and my emails had not been received.Other New Build companies do not hire this sales advisor.

Bovis / Vistry Avoid at all costs

Bovis / Vistry Avoid at all costs. Our house in Berkshire was handed over to us with over 300 issues! Our home was poorly built and the service we received when trying to get items fixed or replaced was horrific, the worst customer service I have ever received. We were offered money and for our snag list to be dealt with to give them a good review. Shocking. Sadly people need to buy homes so Vistry will continue to profit. But buyer beware.

Would definitely buy Bovis/Vistry Again

We bought our home in October 2022and can’t quite believe some of the reviews. We reserved in May had the most amazing point of contact Flip who guided us through step by step she was even brilliant after we completed. Marius our site manager whilst he was still here was incredibly good at getting our snagging sorted for us, we had relatively few issues (most were decorative) and was all signed off by Christmas. Before we moved in we had an independent snagger (a must for any new build purchase) he told us it was well built but the decor on the top floor was rushed- this was all addressed as part of snagging. I have had to speak with the customer service team about a couple of bits and so far they have been very good shout out especially to Charlie and Toni. Both have been very customer driven which is refreshing, especially Toni who kept me updated regularly and showed great empathy- really impressed! Based on our experience so far I would definitely buy Bovis/Vistry again!
