Dear Mr Donello. I'm sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction and need to post us a 1 star review. As I was told in the early stages of marketing your property by a colleague, we were likely to receive a negative review or complaint from you, and, as such, I took the opportunity of documenting several things that have happened throughout the process in readiness for this.
It is, of course, disappointing to have not had more interest or to sell your property, but, seeing how many other city centre apartments have remained unsold, the countless price reductions and difficult property market, it is no surprise to me we haven't been successful on this occasion.
In response to some of your dissatisfaction.
Firstly, I have witnessed several members of the team giving you all the time you need to discuss your disappointment, whilst (always sat at our designated customer desk) each time. On one occasion, my business partner sat with you for a hour, making her 40 minutes late for her 'pre booked' customer appointment and, in the process, needing to apologise profusely to them. Not exactly an act of making you feel 'not valued' in my book.
Alex has approached me to discuss your marketing and actually what would the best route be to handle things on several occasions showing to me how much he cared about you as a client. Calling in to see Alex (always unannounced) and then complaining he is never in has been difficult too. As a valuer, if he is not out most of the time valuing houses, there would not be a role available for him here. With notice, he could always have been available when you would have wanted to call in. That aside, the team have always given you lots of their time. In fact, too much, in my opinion, given the want to look after a lot of clients to the best of our ability and workload they have.
I also haven't been impressed with a few comments ( a couple I don't feel I want to mention here)that have been made my yourself. One would be stating that Alex said to you that we would have 'loads of viewers for you'. Simply not close to the truth. Also, you have complained about us disturbing your tenants but also about lack of interest and viewings. We have only 'disturbed' your tenants on 3 occasions. Which is disappointing to all of us, as we would have all liked more viewings and a successful result.
I have an email in front of me sent to you in April from Alex which must must have taken him an hour to write ( in his own time I note) explaining how we have marketed your property, the difficulties faced and some ideas to move things forward. We have even offered to release you from your contract previously due to your unhappiness.
I understand we cannot be successful all of the time, but, this is a very hard working and caring team who will always do their best for you. Having witnessed this first hand when you have visited the office, I am extremely comfortable with how everything was handled and, as stated earlier, would simply ask we have no further dealings with you in the future. The team put up with a lot these days, and do not deserve to.
Finally, with regards to us removing your original Google review. This is impossible for us to do. I would ask you follow this particular complaint up with Google directly.
