I just wanted to say how great Aldreds STALHAM branch are. Paul, Tracey, Peppa and everyone else on the team were friendly and professional at all times. I was kept updated every step of the way whilst selling my mothers home, in what was a very long and drawn out process starting before and continuing throughout the pandemic which obviously made things more difficult than usual. Nothing was too much trouble. With reference to the 1* review posted by our buyer, I take offence at being described as vexatious, a complete untruth. I was informed by Aldreds and my solicitor about all aspects of the conveyancing process, contrary to what has been written in this review. I think the fact that Aldreds handled my mother and fathers house purchase back in 2001 and sale 20 years later in 2021 shows what a great estate agency they are. I hesitated to review this company, because I just have nothing good to say. I am quick to praise great service and have been through the conveyancing process several times, so know what to expect. From the outset, this estate agency had a strange attitude. The person who showed us round told us that she wanted the property herself, but decided to "let us have it" and she was not joking. They left us, unsupervised at an elderly person's home, on 2 separate occasions and they treated us throughout, as though we were a nuisance, rather than a customer. It was almost like a "blame defence" whenever we spoke to them, no matter how polite or kind we were. The agent failed to follow up on sale progress, until prompted, even after a 7 week delay in proceedings. They did nothing to encourage smooth relations between us and their vexatious client and they did not keep their own client informed about the conveyancing process, because she did not understand how the transfer of funds worked, even up to completion of the transaction. Aldreds made everything more complicated than it needed to be. They were condescending and downright rude at times. Our feedback to them regarding their professionalism went unheeded and therefore I could never recommend them to any of my friends or family and I do not recommend them to sellers at all.NegativeProfessionalism

When Paul conducted the viewing, he was upfront and honest. I haven't got a word I can say wrong about them.
