It was a very quick and well organised process. My buyers "moved the goal posts" a couple of times which was quite challenging for me but James and Clare had it all in hand and everything went smoothly on moving day.
Despite popular beliefs, goalposts are never static, they seem to have a habit of moving all over the place. Fortunately, we're quite good at chasing them down! Thanks for the review Jane, it's been a pleasure to work with you.

I was asked to pay a £250 deposit to secure a flat that the seller then pulled out of and Seymours kept MY £250 depiste me still wanting to proceed. How can they keep MY money when I wasn't the one who backed out?

It's doubtful that we would have kept your money, as this would have been passed to the owner/solicitors and may have been a non-refundable deposit. We'll spend as much time as needed dealing with not only the solicitors involved, but the rest of the chain be they sellers, buyers or their agents. GoogleVery professional. Adam showed us a number of properties with our search criteria changing over time having seen previous properties. He always kept us in the loop and sent numerous properties meeting these requirements. As a first time buyer it was a daunting process, but Adam and the whole team were very supportive and friendly and helped with our exciting project. Definitely would recommend using Seymour’s - Addlestone.

I was planning to buy a 1 bed flat in Horsell, Woking. Seymours gave me wrong information about the build year. At the viewing the estate agent said the building was built in 1997, and it turned out it was built in 1958. The whole process was slow. I had to wait 5 months for the documents, and at the end from a H&S document I found out that asbestos may be present in the building. The asbestos survey found asbestos in the flat, and so here I am after 5 months, 2500 GBP shorter (moving costs, legal cost, searches, mortgage broker fee), and I had to withdraw. I made an offer in early July, I got the documents in mid November. If I would have got the documents earlier, I would not have moved out from my old place (which I had been renting). If I would have got the correct information about the build year, I would not have make an offer / start the process.

Really wish I'd read the reviews first. Thanks to Seymours Addlestone looks like we've lost out on stamp duty holiday. Cannot think of a single positive thing to say about them. Have been left feeling conned & very very annoyed. Can't even get them to take property off market. If you want to sell a property I suggest you go elsewhere.
