I would have given a negative star if I could .This agency is just there to make money off tenants.When issues are brought to them they refer you to their contractors who are some big shot money making cheats who charge you an arm and leg for doing small jobs.Worst agency ever.I have the worst experience with them

Alex managed to arrange two very short notice viewings to fit around my awkward schedule, and to my surprise (being used to a larger city's estate agents scene) the flats were as advertised online or better, with no surprises / wide angle shots / tiny cupboards disguised as rooms or excessive use of image "corrections". Placed a reservation on the day and the rest of the process was very smooth (glad to see they use Docusign which allowed me to process the paperwork whilst on the go).

after visiting several agencies and having viewings under false advice, I visited Davis Tate where I immediately felt at ease with Alexandra. She was very honest and helpful and gave me advice on my situation. She did not have to and could have just shown me the door but she helped me understand fees and the lettings process and made me feel at ease. I've had my fingers burned with other agents taking my money knowing I would not be eligible however This was not the case here. As soon as I entered I felt I could actually trust them. When I am ready to move I will only be making one choice when it comes to agents now. Thanks for your help!

My partner and I recently rented a property from Davis Tate using their Abingdon branch. The service was almost second to none as we worked through each aspect of renting a property. They were a pleasure to work with and responded with great haste on any query we had via E-mail or The highlight being the speed at which they resolved our issue with the front door on the day we completed our check-in. Exemplary service and, hopefully, if we again move we will be able to use Davis Tate as our confidence in them as agents is very high indeed

During the process of renting we found Emily. She called to me and we speak about all details. We meet really fast to see my new flat. When we come to office Josh and Emily always are really helpful and friendly. Josh showed as other apartments a year ago but I decided to go to flat from different agency. Emily, Josh and Phil could not have been more helpful. They were welcoming and informative when I went in to the office. Emily collected the paperwork and advised me of each step. Phil came out to take the photos and within a few of hours he had completed a very well written advert with brilliant photos. Josh showed an interested person around the week before Christmas and contacted me straight after with the tenants requests. I would definitely use Davis Tate again.

The purchase of my new house was dragging on and on. In desperation I phoned Stewart Simpson of Davis Tate in Abingdon, and asked for his advice. He quickly arranged a discussion together and spent quite some time offering professional and helpful advice. He offered to sort out some of the problems, which took a great weight off my mind! And hey presto! Stewart succeeded in moving things along - and, guess what? I exchanged not long afterwards and completed shortly after that! Stewart and Davis Tate are a great team, and I'm really grateful for their expertise and guidance.

We sold our house twice with Davis Tate, and would strongly recommend them. Following a poor experience with another local agent, we were really pleased with the communication, openness and responsiveness that Davis Tate provided. Not only did Stewart have buyers lined up to view our house, he was available 24/7, returning calls and texts at times to suit us (mostly evenings!). In addition he helped with our hunt to find a home, leaflet dropping on our behalf, and giving us up to date information on what was coming to market. We believe we would have struggled to get this same level of service anywhere else.

From start to end, the service was very professional. A fairly accurate market assessment was provided early on and advice given on how small improvements would improve the appartment's marketability - which it did. Once the fee was agreed, marketing commenced and I was kept up to date regularly with progress. Davis Tate did all the viewings (as I was mostly at work) and fed back quickly. All offers were passed on and Charlie did provide valuable insight into the vendor's thoughts on the property. Once the sale was agreed, the back office (Sheilagh in particular) was very helpful in acting between myself, the solicitors, my vendors and purchasers, contributing to a smooth and successful conclusion.

I would strongly recommend this estate agency if you are considering buying or selling or some other property business in the Abingdon area. They have sold a house for me, helped me find a mortgage and currently manage a rental property on my behalf.
