GoogleI was selling a very run down property which took around two and a half years to sell. Throughout all this time the team at James Dean stayed positive and upbeat despite two sale offers falling down. They kept me informed at all stages and I am most grateful to them especially Hywel, Ceri and Oliver. Thank you all so much for contributing to a successful completion, you are number one on my list!

We were also able to view the property on multiple occasions to confirm particulars. Really appreciate the all the hard work. You made the whole experience very smooth.

GoogleJames Dean Estate Agents have recently supported us in both selling and buying in Abergavenny. From the beginning they were professional and helpful. The photographer created very professional photos for marketing our property. The team at the office really worked hard to get the chain through to a positive conclusion. The only thing I would advise anyone to do in the same circumstances , would be to ask the agents to check that the purchaser had instructed their conveyancing team early on , as we were not aware that our purchaser had not done so for two months . More frequent updates in the early weeks maybe would have prevented this . I would though be happy to recommend James Dean to anyone wanting to sell their home as they worked very hard as we moved towards exchange . The whole team were very helpful.

GoogleTo undertake the sale of my late Mother's house I randomly chose an Estate Agent from the web. No answer so I phoned the next one - and luckily in retrospect Hywel at James Dean picked up the phone. Exactly what I wanted - great service and he subsequently met me and my siblings (we all live away from our home town now) at the house. He advised us to take an offer which he got before the house went on the market which eventually went through. Hywel is very personable and delightfully efficient he replies to emails straight away - phone calls too. I have recommended him to other parts of our family too - top chap !!

GoogleFor two octogenarians who had not moved house in over forty years the thought of moving was daunting. The James Dean team in Abergavenny made the experience much easier than expected by the courteous and understanding manner in which they helped us sell our house. We can not thank enough Oliver, Hywel, Emily and Molly for their efficient, professional and friendly way in which they handled the whole process. GoogleOne job- we arranged a viewing of a property for Tuesday @ 11.20am - received confirmation email. Arrived 5 minutes early - waited 15 minutes in case agent was caught in traffic - ended up calling them only for them to tell us WE had cancelled the viewing. Why would I drive that far if we had cancelled after having confirmation by email confirming??? Please just tell us you messed up and we might accept it but trying to cover up your mistake is unprofessional. Very disappointed

GoogleExcellent service although we had a very difficult sale = a lovely bungalow in the countryside on a huge plot with a beautiful view and optmistically valued at first, but through no fault of James Dean we were forced to reduce the price substantially; we hit the market at hopelessly the wrong time. Nothing was too much trouble, though for Ceri, Oliver and Hywel; they were always courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. What more coutd one ask?
