Thank you Elaine

I have been searching for a flat for over a month since I moved to Edinburgh and have met a lot of agents but my experience with Elaine was the best as she was helpful from the beginning till the end, supporting and providing the necessary help and advising along the way. I got the flat with her help and Elaine was always there to answer all my questions and guide me throughout the whole process. Thank you Elaine!

Quick on their feet and helpful

The Edinburgh sales team were wonderful - my flat was promptly on the market and sold within a week! Stephen was my main contact. I found him professional and pleasant - nothing was ever an issue. He kept me updated throughout and made it such an easy process. He really went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and provided a helpful sounding board at each stage. James managed the viewings. As soon as the advert went live viewings started being booked in. I was really impressed by the pace he had people in and looking around. Finally Sara provided the marketing pack. It was polished and really did show the property in the best possible way. I had one small piece of feedback and she turned it around the same day to get the advert online.

Professional and efficient.

Having had a really positive experience with DJ Alexander as letting agents it was easy to use them as estate agents when selling my property. Once again they did not disappoint. Connor McNulty and Ruth Woodcock of DJ Alexander, Byres Road, Glasgow were amazing. They took care of everything. I live quite a distance from my property so I really needed people who I could rely on. No question was considered too silly and they always got back to me promptly. If I were to need their services again, I would not hesitate to use them. Thanks Connor and Ruth, you were both fantastic.

Downright rude email

We recently received an email out of the blue stating that their agent would be accessing our rental home on a certain date to carry out an inspection. Much in the same way the police might with a search warrant. The correct thing to do considering we are indirectly paying their fees, would be a courtesy email, requesting a convenient time for inspection. Stonehouse were terrible agents (to the point we had to communicate directly with our landlords about defects issues) , and it seems DJ Alexander wish to carry on the awful service in the same vein.

Me and my flatmate just had the best…

Me and my flatmate just had the best experience with DJ Alexander. Nathan Eastwood help us a lot with getting us the flat we really wanted. I have a dog, so it’s not easy! We also had one viewing with Gemma-Louise and she was very helpful in answering all the questions regarding the flat we were seeing and other questions not related to the flat. There is just one thing that needs improving. When I was booking several viewings, it always asked me if I had a pet and I always selected that option and then mentioned the type of pet and breed. It still let me book the viewing and we had a few viewings where we were really disappointed to hear that dogs weren’t allowed at all.

Thank you to u both for all the hardwork.
